Fantastic experience: Akshay and his team are the best! Booked some refresher driving lessons with Kami as I held an international license that needed converting. I addressed my areas of concern that I needed help with before commencing my lessons and words are not enough to describe how accommodating and patient Kami instructors are! They made me feel comfortable while mastering the necessary skills in a short period of time. The fees for the lessons are very fair too. I booked in a car for my road test last minute and they were quick to respond and the car was at ICBC in good time for me to get settled in. Thank you Kami for being a part of my journey! I have twin boys who were learning to drive so finding the time to get them both out driving, teaching them the right things etc. was very time consuming. When I contacted Akshay he was more than accomodating to our needs, moving times around to fit schedules and quite literally going the extra mile to make sure they were ready for their road tests. The boys said all instructors were calm, courteous and respectful at all times. Fantastic experience: My experience with Kami driving school was a very positive and supportive one. Ashkay and Aman supported me with overcoming my anxiety with driving while being instructed. Also, they are really good instructors that provide you with driving tips and hacks that are replicable, regardless of the vehicle you are driving. Furthermore, I had concerns about the vehicle to use for my road test as I was used to driving older car models and struggled to manoeuvre really newer models. I expressed this concern and was immediately supported with an option that I found comfortable to manoeuvre during practice lessons and the road test. The instructors at Kami driving school ensure that your driving skills improve and are up to standard as per ICBC expectations by giving honest and professional feedback. All of the feedback and support eventually helped me pass my Class 5 road test this month. I would highly recommend signing up with this driving school and discussing transparently with the instructors where you need to improve. Also, this would be instrumental in helping them know how best to support you in your learning.

Fantastic experience: I had a one-hour driving lesson today, and I must say my instructor was incredibly patient with me. Despite having 6 years of driving experience in my home country, I still struggle with controlling the throttle and brake to maintain a steady speed. I often find myself hitting the pedals too hard. What impressed me most was my instructor's patience. Instead of getting frustrated, which would have been the case if my father were sitting next to me, my instructor corrected me repeatedly with great patience. During the lesson, my instructor pointed out many of my glaring mistakes, such as forgetting to do a shoulder check, ignoring the speed limit, not coming to a full stop at stop signs, and failing to check the rearview mirror before braking. Frankly, I feel a bit embarrassed that I seem to make almost every kind of mistake that could lead to failing a road test. However, my instructor reassured me that it's not about having bad driving habits; all I need is more practice and familiarity with the road conditions in Kamloops. I appreciate the encouragement and guidance, and I'm determined to improve my skills with more practice.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Kami driving school for learning the basics of driving. Akshay is an excellent instructor. His way of teaching is fabolus. I learnt many new things to drive safely and smoothly which helped me a lot to become a confident driver. His technique of teaching reverse parking and parallel parking is wonderful. Fantastic experience: Akshay is an amazing driving instructor. Trying to convert my foreign drivers license to a BC license was proving to be near impossible for me. Even though I had more than 25 years driving experience, I failed 3 attempts. Just two lessons with him, and I passed today!!!! The tester said I was a solid driver!!! I can not speak highly enough of his calm and reassuring manner of teaching. I will use him to teach both my kids when the time comes!!! Thank you Akshay!!

Fantastic experience: I have gotten 3 practice sessions before my second road test with Aman and I could passed in my second try. She was very calm and kind entire time, also mentioned very useful tips. When I didn’t know how to clear a huge cross section or how to merge safely, she draw it on the paper for me and explained it very clearly. I highly recommend Aman for driving practice.

Fantastic experience: We first used another driving school and knew after 2 lessons that it was not going to be beneficial for our daughter. We contacted Kami Driving, and right from the start, Akshay was super easy to deal with and very friendly. Our daughter felt confident and at ease driving with him and his other instructors. We have a large SUV and choosing the package where their vehicle is used for the N test was amazing. I strongly suggest going with at least that package if you can. Very worth it. Our daughter passed on her first try! Thanks so much Akshay and your team...our other children will be coming to see you soon!

Negative experience: This driving school is a thief, he drove me around for 40 minutes and without taking me to the highway he returned to my location 15 minutes earlier to add another session. I paid $68.25 for 4.5 hours of work. and uses cash and e-transfer. I am complaining from here

I had a bit of a tough time with the road test in the past but my lessons with Kami Driving School allowed me to gain confidence in my driving ability and to develop all of the skills necessary to pass the test. Negative experience: Amazing instructors especially Teresa, helps you get the most value out of a 60-min session. However, the other instructor lacks accountability. Shows up 20mins late to a session, instead of taking accountability he blames me for waiting in the “wrong” spot. Extremely unprofessional. Hence, the rating.
