Fantastic experience: The best driving school! After lessons with Surjeet I passed my road test (7) on first try I never drove before, and I had no relatives who could teach me how to drive, so I took the package for beginners (30hours). At first, I was very scared to drive, but once the lessons started, I felt like I was in the right place. Surjeet is a fantastic instructor and nice person - he knows everything about driving, and he made me feel comfortable and confident on a road. Also he has a good sense of humor and is very friendly, this made our lessons super fun. Also, they are quite flexible in terms of lesson schedules, it was easy to communicate and find convenient dates for practice. I found Task academy on the recommendation of my friend (she also passed a test), and I highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you Surjeet, you’re the best :)

Fantastic experience: Words cannot really express how much I learned and more importantly, enjoyed learning with Surjeet at Task Driving Academy. I was a learner, no previous experience of driving, so starting from scratch! I chose the beginner package to begin with. Starting was the hardest for me, driving was something I thought I was afraid of, until I started to practice. I started to love the lessons, and they became a priority! A 2024 goal to see through to the finish line. Surjeet was instrumental in helping me achieve this goal. Surjeet really cares, and has driving methods that are easy to remember. I was assigned Surjeet, one of the best instructors. He knows what is about and got me prepared for the road test by teaching me how to drive safe in the province. I passed the road test on my first attempt haven had only 5-6hours of lessons on the road. He equipped me with all the techniques I needed to know when driving. Surjeet is very kind. Fantastic experience: I was able to pass my Class 7 (N) Road Test on the first attempt without any prior driving experience thanks to my amazing instructor Surjeet. Surjeet is patient, supportive, and very knowledgeable with the ICBC requirements. I took 22 hours lessons in total, 2 hours each week. Each lessons was tailored to my needs and came with useful feedbacks. 100% recommend to new learners.

Surjeet has all the qualities you could want from a driving instructor: he is patient, clear, kind, knows plethora of tips and tricks, and is able to instil confidence in student drivers by pointing out both successes and mistakes in a friendly manner. Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Surjeet and Task Driving strong enough. My daughter has such a busy schedule. Surjeet and his team were able to find times that would work, and alter those times when necessary. The process was so much easier than when my son learned to drive with another driving school. Surjeet was my driving instructor and he was very professional, friendly and easy going yet observant and attentive to detail, not only offering corrective advice but also letting me know when I did something well, and overall being just a fantastic guy who wants the best results for you. I took two lessons with very short notice after other driving schools would not accommodate my short notice request, and then I passed my test and finally have my class 5. Fantastic experience: I had limited experience driving before signing on with Task. Surjeet prepared me SO well not only for my test but for driving in Vancouver, which can be pretty intimidating! I had no idea there was so much to learn. Surjeet was a fabulous teacher and I was able to master the concepts behind parallel parking and reverse stall parking (something I was sure I would never be able to learn) with his helpful teaching. I gained a lot of confidence on the road which was really important to me. Another fabulous thing about Task Driving is that the administration is very very good. Communication is very clear, either though call, text or email and you receive reminders when you have a lesson. It’s also super easy to book more classes if necessary and they always go one step further to make sure they offer the best service. I had tried two other driving schools in Vancouver and I was really disappointed with both. They just seemed to care about getting more clients and booking lots of lessons, didn’t care so much about customer service. It was hard to book, hard to get a response, and beyond frustrating. So glad I found Surjeet at Task Driving and now I have my license!

Fantastic experience: I immigrated from Suriname, where they drive on the left side of the road. Coming to Canada I had to give up my previous driver’s license and take the knowledge test and road test again. After passing my knowledge test I was looking for a driving school and found Task Academy, I was quite anxious to learn to drive again after 6 years. The instructor I was assigned to was Surjeet and he was extremely good at putting my at ease since day 1 when I had so much anxiety. Within 5 lessons I became pretty confident and was almost ready for the test. He prepared me well. Today I passed the test! I recommend this driving academy because my experience with them has been always pleasant, professional, flexible and they have always communicated with me respectfully, never with sarcasm or condescension, even when I made silly mistakes. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Surjeet. I needed to do road test to exchange my European driver's license for a Canadian one. I recommend at least one or two rides before the test for everyone. More if you're not an experienced driver. There are many differences in Canada than in Europe and after two unsuccessful attempts I can say that the lesson is almost necessary.
