Negative experience: Worst experience I ever had. If you want to save your money and time, take a different driving school. Sukhi was so unprofessional, she did not focus on the student who drives the car(me), but was more focus on the student on the backseat, talking to other people on the backseat. The worst part that during my lessons she was talking with somebody for an hour on the phone. Didn't teach me anything new. Even before the road test Sukhi told me why I didn't practice parallel parking at home, but then WHY I TOOK DRIVING SCHOOL THAT THEY COULD TEACH ME PARALLEL PARKING. She always was late on the lesson like 10-20 minutes at least. And now I understand why this is the cheapest driving school in Edmonton and Sherwood Park because the service is so poor. If I could, I better get refund of the money. She has never told me first that the lesson is canceled, I always texted her first. It was really annoying driving in the car with an instructor(Sushi) who doesn't care about you, doesn't teach you anything and was talking so loud with somebody for hours on Hindi language. Please, do not waste your money and time choosing this driving school, your kids would not enjoy and you as well.

Negative experience: Actually my son took lessons with your school so there's a record in his name. This was the worst experience ever. Sukhi the only instructor complained to my son about needing to hire more instructors she also took calls while my son was behind the wheel for the first time and spoke to the student in the backseat. No focus on the new student driving behind the wheel whatsoever. Sukhi was very unprofessional and rude when confronted with all that. On the second lesson Sukhi parked five houses down and didn't park by our house without explaining her action. We cancelled after 2 driving lessons and went with a different school If I can give no stars to Alberta driving school I would. Our kids safety is NOT taking seriously with your lack of focus on them driving and lack of instructions. Avoid this school at all costs

Fantastic experience: Sukhi is very knowledgeable about the rules of the road and is kind. To speak of the quality of the lessons, I managed to pass the road test (first try) in bad road conditions with the teaching provided by her, and I had done very little driving before the lessons. The scheduling for lessons is pretty flexible, although I would recommend you have your next session booked by the end of the current session with her. This is not a bad choice for a driving school if you are looking for one. Based on my experience here, I would recommend it.

Negative experience: My driving instructor Sukhi was very rude and condescending. She was tardy in giving me my certificate and was not responsible or accountable for her actions. Avoid this driving school at all costs and more importantly avoid Sukhi as an instructor at all costs. It will be a waste of money for a driving instructor who is very ill-mannered and impolite.

Fantastic experience: my instructor was very fun but also very focused and helpful. Had a great time learning although was nervous at first. cheap options and very flexible with scheduling. passed the drivers on the first try!!

Positive experience: Passed my driving test on the first try. My instructor, Sukhi, was punctual and organized, and was very good in preparing me and building my confidence in the basics. She would also engage in non-driving related conversation with me, and would sometimes be on her phone, but still be fully alert to everything going on inside and outside of the car to guide me whenever needed - I feel this helped me build independence, and learn how to drive while there are other things going on in the car. (I took lessons with a different company before, but I felt I got distracted easily if someone tried talking with me - I didn't feel that way as much during these lessons.) There were times I felt I needed more specific instruction / an alternate style of explanation to understand some driving maneuvers, but I feel I improved in those areas in the end. l also took my lessons during snowy weather, and sometimes found it tricky to understand where the lanes were - Sukhi gave me some tips, but I feel I'll eventually improve my judgement with more practice. Overall, the lessons with Sukhi helped me build my independence in driving and built my skills so I was able to pass my test on the first try.

Negative experience: The driving instruction itself is fine. I did not finish out my lessons here because I am so unsatisfied with instructor issues. My instructor was hard to book time with, often not responding. She cancelled 4 lessons because she was tired and working to much, was frequently late and forgot we booked a lesson and didn't show up. She complained about the job frequently and often took phone calls from other clients while I was in lesson - one day she took 6 calls in 2 hours and each time this involves pulling out a planner and reading/writing/talking instead of paying attention. I am older than most people getting their license and she was respectful to me but since students drive each other home as part of the lesson I saw her with other younger clients and she was rude to one of them. She raised her voice often. She ate nuts in the car while I was driving without checking for allergy. She knows her stuff but just booking lessons was a nightmare and I dreaded the sessions. I'm willing to just give up the money for the unused lessons to not deal with it.

Negative experience: Don’t take classes here. The instructor has no patience and she was talking a lot on her phone. She touched my arm in 2 opportunities aggressively. She only said to me: you won’t pass the exam or maybe if you have lucky. If you are new in Canada, definitely don’t take lessons here because she talks very fast and she doesn’t have patience with your accent. She only made me feel very nervous because she talked very loudly and criticized me. She doesn't know how to teach you.

Negative experience: One of the most unprofessional companies that I’ve dealt with. They didn’t finalize my bookings even though I have texts that say otherwise. I asked the lady to send me (again) all the details that I needed to finalize the booking, and despite a reminder text, she never got back to me.

She came highly recommended from my family friends. 3 of them had their trainings (2 Basic and 1 Advanced) with her and passed on the first attempt with her and that’s why I decided to go with her. They told me how detailed and professional she was compared to the previous instructor they had when they failed. For a fact, she is so detailed and will advise you if you need more classes to ensure that you fully know how to apply the principles. She was patient with me until I understood the rules and was ready for the test. In all, I had a great experience and subsequently passed my test on the first attempt!!! My comment on some negative reviews - you’re definitely not going to pass the test if you’re lazy and try to cramp the routes rather than learn to understand the principles.
