Fantastic experience: Very good experience with driving. Instructor was very calm and polite and having a great experience in driving. Training the student to clear the test in first attempt itself.

Fantastic experience: I took only 3 lessons and passed my class 5 road test in first attempt, the lady who gave me lessons is so polite, good, informative and excellent at her job because of her good training I pass in first attempt. I was afraid of driving as back home it was opposite side ( right hand drive) but with the help of my instructor I over come this fear. She is also flexible with time. Overall I would highly and strongly recommend step up driving academy for training.

Fantastic experience: The Guidance, Insights and Tips which I received from Ishinder mam in order to safely maneuver the car and drive in the Canadian roads specially in the snow season were extremely helpful. Fantastic experience: I utilized Google search to locate a driving practice school and stumbled upon Step Up Academy. I reached out to the academy and had a conversation with Ishinder, who collaborated with me to determine a suitable time for my driving practice. Throughout the practice session, she was exceedingly helpful and offered numerous tips while I was driving. The vehicle operated smoothly, and I felt comfortable having such an excellent instructor assisting me along the way. When the time came to schedule a road test, she aided me in booking the test, and I also rented her vehicle, which operated smoothly without any issues. I must emphasize that Step Up Academy has exceptional instructors who will instill confidence in you to excel in your road test. Once again, thank you Step Up.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. asked for more money after 2 classes were finished. and she was coming 10 minutes late and finishing 5 minutes early which makes loss of 15mins. when you are paying for 2 hours, 15mins is worth $15. don’t go with them. not sure how they got so many reviews

Fantastic experience: I decided to take driving classes to get used to driving in the snow and Alberta roads. From the beginning Ishinder was a great teacher. Explain to me the basics and let me drive, expanded more on the rules and regulations as I was driving and was always making sure I had understood and felt confident on what I was doing. They were really accommodating to the times I wanted my classes at and made sure to take me on all kinds of roads to get familiarize with the changing speeds and places. Additionally, I was able to use their car for the driving test and passed. Overall a great experience and I do recommend.

Fantastic experience: If you're someone who overthinks and gets anxious like me in presence of an examiner, Ishinder is the instructor you need. She's professional, friendly, and kind and provides constructive feedback while making sure you don't lose confidence in your driving abilities and succeed. Surprisingly, she never hit the brake once and was calmly and proactively providing me with the instructions and information. For comparison, I went for a brush-up session with another instructor from a different school, who was distracted most of the time with his phone and couldn't note anything positive to provide at the end. It was a waste of time, energy, and resources. It made me doubt my driving abilities with unnecessary brakes, demoralizing feedback, and greed for more money. I'm from Afghanistan and I passed the road test after 2 hours of brush-up session. I preferred a digital speedometer for the car I rented but we don't care about speedometer when we drive our car, right?

I was lucky enough to learn my driving lessons from such experienced instructors and hence I passed my road test after taking 5 lessons, the way of teaching was really pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about all things regarding driving/cars/tips & tricks to park, etc. My instructor was very professional and understanding. He helped me understand the common mistakes, rules etiquettes and was very reasonable. I really liked the way of teaching and explaining the facts while driving. I took one brush-up lesson with her in which she taught me all the important things including uphill, downhill, and parallel parking. One lesson was enough for me and she told me that I will pass the test, which was true! I passed my GDL road test on the first attempt and I can't be more thankful to her! Negative experience: Fake reviews bought from India. No one has a 5.0 perfect rating that's just impossible. Any half decent driving school knows the route your closest registry examiners will take and they let you practice on that route. She has no clue what route your examiner will take you on hence you will be driving aimlessly in random neighborhoods close to your house. Look for a school that knows the route your examiner is going to take you on and practice that route for 10 hour course You will pass with flying colors. She is a very lazy laid back instructor. She will want her full money up front and tell you to practice at home after a 10 hour course. We made a deal for 450$ for 10hrs course after first lesson she wanted 500$. I asked why 500$? She said gst lol okay? $450. +5% =472.5?? She said service fee? What service fee?
