Fantastic experience: Classes were fantastic, my instructor Selom Tsedey was so profesional and he was patient, taught in many ways, both practically and visually, with diagrams and explained everything very well, very polite and fun.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Only cares about money. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I did the weekend basic course with Nader as the instructor. I honestly didnt know what to expect, as I never rode a motorcycle before. Within 12 hours I couldnt beleive how comfortable I was with everything. Nader is an exceptional teacher and I would highly recommend doing this course with him!

Negative experience: I will never recommend this school bcz of numerous reasons. It's just waste of money and time. 1) I took 10 hours classes and never taught roundabouts driving skills, angled parking and uturns. In my first driving test I failed as I was unable to do angled parking. 2) In the last class of 10 hours training instructor recommended that I need more practice, so I took 6 hours training to complete 16 hours training course ( recommended for drivers having zero experience ) . The new instructor tried to teach me new methods and make me feel embarrassed by saying "oh you did not learned how to drive in roundabouts in 10 hours course" . I was in the school to learned things. 3) I completed my course on 19th July. I applied for completion certificate as I needed it to be added on my driving history once I passed the road test. I contacted them but no fruitful results. I passed the driving test on 29th of July and still there was no sign of certificate. Although I mentioned that I will come to pick it myself. I waited for almost two and half weeks and paid the fee for driving license the second time to update the code on my driving license.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Selom, and I have to say, he is one of the best driving instructors out there. For the 10 hrs of driving I completed he helped and guided me as I improved. His method of teaching is very solid as he does mock exams with his students so that they know what to expect during their actual class 5 road test. I will be taking my road test soon and am confident that I will do well because of him. He was an amazing communicator and helped me feel comfortable even during a stressful situation. All in all, Selom is a 10/10 driving instructor!

With the limited availability of test slots in Alberta recently, I had completed all the MELT1 courses but was struggling to secure a road test. The few lessons I had with him through Roadrunner were what I needed as well as the online program to get me through to getting my license. Negative experience: If I would've option of giving 0 start then I prefer that. 1. 3 instructors were changed during 5 classes without prior informing. 2. No follow-up or suggestion were provided after 5 classes. 3. 700$ were wasted because of them - had to again take classes with different school. The above points are just summary of what actually our experience were with them. Beware!

If you are nervous about starting your driving journey, he will help you to gain confidence while you learn. Fantastic experience: Selom is the GOAT. Six lessons with him had me moving from a driver with little experience to passing my road test. He’s calm, knowledgeable and is good for a laugh, which puts you at ease. Roadrunner as a company though needs to work on their website and updating their scheduling system. Phone reminders don’t work.

Fantastic experience: Selom, you're the GOAT, but you already know that, so I guess this info is for other people looking for a teacher.

Negative experience: They emailed to change our appointment for earlier the same day with 1/2 hour notice. We rearranged our schedule and arrived with 5 minutes to spare. Called them twice while on the way to the new time THEY requested, and when they finally answered the phone they said, "the new time is not possible". So a bit perturbed, we drove the 15 minutes back home. We arrived later that afternoon, 15 minutes before our scheduled time (as requested). We waited for 45 minutes and no one showed. While waiting, we called and emailed them with no response. We again went home extremely perturbed this time. At 5:17 (62 minutes after our appointment), we received an email wanting to know if we still wanted our drive lesson. They seem friendly but disorganized and hope our next driving lessons company (forgive the pun) does not give us the run around.

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity of having Selom as my driving instructor for Class 5 license. I took 10 hours of classes with him and as someone new in Canada, Selom really taught me all I needed to know to be able to transfer my driving skills from elsewhere. Something really funny and excellent is that I told Selom that I absolutely hated Parallel Parking, that I always panicked even if I get it right. Guess what Selom did? He made me do Parallel Parking until I was perfect at it, I even figured out factors I need to change to get it right. I will say, I did more Parallel Parkings in my recent training than I had ever done before. Merging on roads was a new concept to me, in the first training session I drove a lot slower than I should have. Selom encouraged me through each class and I gained more confidence in hitting the gas pedal. I started merging on roads more comfortably towards the end of my training. Selom is very much in demand, I booked my classes 2 months in advance so I was able to have a consistent schedule. The signing up process was smooth, the Reception I had called were kind and patient since I called multiple times to confirm/change my class dates and with other doubts.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor, Selom, was such a fantastic teacher! He was very patient, nice and let me learn at my own pace. When I told him that I needed more practice with parking, he was open to it and helped me through the process. He even taught me how to fill up the car with gas so I don't get nervous when I have to do it by myself. He was very eager to teach and I learned lots from him. Fantastic experience: RoadRunner is by far the best driving school in the Calgary area. They prepare you so well that taking the road test seems like a little speed bump! Angela and William provide exceptional lessons and support. They give you plenty of tips for the road test and make sure you do understand what the examiners will test you on. Fantastic experience: I’m happy that I chose Roadrunner Driving School to take my driving course. I had my driving test about a week ago and I passed on the first try!!! None of that would have been possible without the help of my instructor William. I can not be more grateful to him for his patience and guidance, for helping me build the confidence that I needed to face my fears, for making me feel safe on the road, for his easy way of teaching and for the fun lessons. Parallel parking is so easy thanks to him! Also I want to thank Angela for all the feedback and great tips she gave me for my driving test during the brush up lesson I took with her.

Negative experience: Terrible customer services! Wrong hours listed on website & google. Staffs never pick up phone calls during the work hours. And they changed my class schedule last minutes without my consent. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience! Do NOT recommend !

He got me from great to excellent at my driving skills, allowing me to pass with 0 demerit points on my road test, goes to show how far you can get with a outstanding instructor like Selom. Fantastic experience: Selom was absolutely amazing and a thorough professional instructor. He helped me to gain confidence behind the wheel.
