I ended up booking the VIP service with Oren at the Dorval location and I passed on my first try :) Oren took the time to address my areas of concern and explained a lot of the potential "tricky" areas I would potentially run into during the exam. 5 stars!

Negative experience: This is the most unaccomidating school. When you tell someone they will find a schedule that fits your schedule forget it. When they book driving session 1 month apart it tells you everything about this place. Just as rotten as omega driving school.

The staff is excellent, but the real star to me was my instructor; Eric. Eric is not only a great teacher, but an incredibly kind and easy to talk to person. 5/5 will reccomend to others!

Fantastic experience: If you are trying to find a good instructor for your in cars definitely pick Andre. He is located at Snowdon/Decarie office. I passed my theory and practical tests at the SAAQ first try and would not have been able to do so without Andre. I have done all my courses with Andre since he has always been extremely patient with me. Learning to drive can be really stressful at the beginning but Andre was able to get me to be a confident driver within a few sessions. He helps make driving not feel so intimidating but yet still trains you to make good habits on the road that the evaluators on your practical test will really appreciate. He is very kind and knowledgeable so if you ever have any questions don’t be afraid to ask; he will never scold you. All in all in my opinion if you are looking for a chill and patient instructor who can help you get your license as fast as possible definitely go with Andre!

I learned SO much in this course And I feel super confident in my ability to ride! I am passed my test with 98% mark! Do to all the tricks and techniques showed to me by phill and Scott Highly highly recommend! Also I must say that Morty himself was very accommodating with the scheduling. Negative experience: Wasn’t very happy with this school I’m a girl and also very short they had given me a 300 during all the lessons and then on the exam hand me a 500 which they have never taught me on before so I was completely unprepared and that caused me to fail my exam

Positive experience: The theoretical lessons went very smoothly, however I can't believe they continue to employ Uli (driving instructor). He's very rude, unhelpful and doesn't care at all about you. It was not rare for him to pick up the phone and just talk with a friend while I was trying to drive and anxious about making mistakes. It's not just me either, someone else in my family has had the exact same issue! Good on Morty's for switching me to another driver, but he deserves to go.

Positive experience: I had a great driving instructor, very patient and good and explaining. I felt quite confident driving around crazy Montreal with him. I only had two problems with the school: (1) the driving lesson is never 60 min as was promised, usually it is 50 min or even less; (2) while their textbook is very good, their access binder is useless and a waste of money for the online classes, just skip buying it. But overall, great experience.

Fantastic experience: Morty’s Driving School gave me the skills, knowledge, and confidence to pass my driving exam today. My whole experience with them has been wonderful. They were calm, professional, and always encouraging me to do better and succeed. I cannot recommend them enough.

Negative experience: Honestly speaking I'm conflicted writing this review. I had an amazing experience in the yard with Sam and Phil who did a great job teaching me the proper skills and techniques to ride safely. However, when it comes to booking the road rides, it was very hard finding a suitable time as there were never any slots available. I spent hours and days logging in to the drivingtraqr to look for open slots and I could t find any. They don't give you much options to choose from. It's frustrating as I have a very hectic schedule and work nights. The course is not cheap, the least you would expect is to have options. My exam is coming soon and I'm worried I won't finish my course before.

Negative experience: Motorcycle Class. It is very hard to do this review, because my experience with the instructors Phil and Sam was amazing, i’ve been driving motorcycles outside of Canada for almost 20 years and I learned a lot with them. My true respect to this 2 guys, love for motorcycles and passion to teach others and make the motorcycle family grow and with better riders. And in the other hand I needed to talk to someone at Mortys office and the staff in three of their offices (Montreal, Vaudreuil and I think it was Beaconsfield) they were so rude and disrespectful that made me feel I needed to write this review for future customers to be aware what is coming ahead. Conclusion, I think you won’t have a better instructors than Phill and Sam in all Montreal area but be aware that for “the office” you’re just a number and they just want your money. Good luck!!

Negative experience: What kind of psthetic and lazy schedule is this? You open at 11 am and you are closed on weekends? So the people actually need to loose work in order to take your classes and pay you a 1000$ because your employers are too lazy to wake up early in the morning???!!!!

Fantastic experience: I got my license here years ago, the owner is a mensch and his two sons are super nice. I was working full-time and couldn't attend the classes during their regular hours, and they went above & beyond to accommodate me. One of the owners sons even wrote a novel, he's super bright and I'd love to give it a read! Apart from that, I just want to say: to anyone leaving feedback on a business page; I recommend you evaluate yourself as a client first. Are you a decent human being? Do you treat staff members with dignity and respect? It's way too easy to destroy a businesses reputation online these days! Lastly: ask for Erik when you do your actual courses IN the car with an instructor. He's very patient and has a soothing presence :)

Fantastic experience: The instruction and support I received surpassed all of my expectations and I quickly found my confidence increasing, along with my competence. As each day came and went I found myself very naturally gaining the skills necessary to feel comfortable and safe on the bikes, almost without even thinking about it. Phil, Geoff, Sam, and Scott were amazing. They knew our names from the get-go and provided targeted, highly specific feedback to us throughout the lessons, and it resulted in me feeling ready to tackle riding on the road.

Fantastic experience: Morty's completely lives up to its reputation. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. You can pick the right in-car instructor for you. Shoutout to Erik, he's always both calm and perceptive, I highly recommend. In comparison to all that I've heard of other schools, I'd say Morty's driving instructors are top tier. I passed my knowledge and in-car tests on the first try. When I needed help with something last minute, they went above and beyond what was required of them - they really want their students to succeed. You can't go wrong by choosing this school.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school in Montreal! One of the best prices and all the teacher and driving instructors are friendly and very good at their job ! Thanks to their classes and tips I passed both my knowledge and driving test at the first try, I don't have family here in Montreal, so the only driving practices I had where with my Morty's instructor Eli, and I still was able to pass the test at the first try, that's how good they are !!

Fantastic experience: The classroom instructors at Morty's are patient, professional, and invested in their teaching. The driving instructors are accessible (they give you their cell numbers), calm, and supportive. Everyone at Morty's is sincerely committed to making you a competent and safe driver. In the days before my road test I ran into some extremely stressful last-minute problems, and both Oren (my classroom teacher) and Tze (my driving instructor) made time to answer all of my questions. I would give Morty's six stars if that was an option. I can't say enough good things about them.

Fantastic experience: Eager to get my 6A motorcycle license, Morty’s staff and Morty himself made it such an enjoyable experience, which led me into getting my 6R. So far did the theory session, and while I’m scheduled for closed track in May (2021) I can honestly say, I’m happy with Morty’s and I know they will ensure I get the training required and ensure to pass the license. Negative experience: Impossible de se faire répondre en français ! À chaque fois que j’appelle, on me dit Morty’s school hello ? Et quand je commence à parler en français, silence radio. On a déjà dit à ma soeur qu’il y avait « peut-être un instructeur qui saurait parler français ». Aussi, je lis les réponses aux autres avis négatifs et je les trouve vraiment pas professionnelles.

Fantastic experience: Went to Morty's for motorcycle. They teach you on maneuvering on low speeds (which is what you need to pass the close circuit exam) really well that by the time you're done the course, the maneuvers that were the hardest actually become the most enjoyable because you know how to do them with high proficiency. Overall, had a great experience with Morty's from the instructors to the classes and Morty himself. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I signed up to get my regular class 5 license. This is back 5 years ago. I got my license 2 years ago and never ended up rating this driving school. Price wise, I cannot compare since I do not know what other places are offering. However, this driving school REALLY focuses on success of its students. The instructors are amazing ( I was lucky to work with Jack and Guy) and the team all together are very extraordinary people. I got everything done one shot. The driving exam at the saaq was worrying me, so one of the owners sons actually took me on the possible route of the exam to help me practice before my actual exam. There aren’t enough “thank you”s in the universe to express how grateful I am to have chosen this school. Highly would recommend for any ages.

Fantastic experience: Oren helped me out by giving me review lessons prior to my road test. I have completed all required lessons at another school, but I needed extra lessons as I don't have family here and no other schools could fit me in due to the pandemic backlog. Morty's Decarie was the only place that answered my calls/email. Punctual, understanding, and tailors to your needs. The exam car rental service is also a good value. Thank you Oren / Morty's for accommodating me despite your busy schedules.

Negative experience: Do not go to this driving school. Avoid it at all costs. They will try to get more money out of you by telling you that you need more classes even though you are ready. They will add extra classes at an additional charge. It is a scam. Select a different driving school.

Fantastic experience: *** For my 6A license. *** I was initially with another driving school and then I switched to Morty's, and wow, that was the best decision I could have made. Their classes are extremely knowledgeable, the instructors know what they are talking about and give you real life experiences. I chose to do a few extra private courses with Phil, and there are not enough words to describe how amazing he is. He gave me the confidence to get on the road and him, along with Gerry and Sam and every other instructor constantly gave me feedback on what needed improvement and gave me little techniques to properly ride the motorcycle. I am eternally grateful for the time and effort each instructor put in. Also, unlike many schools, when you call Morty's to set up private appointments, who do you get in contact with? Morty himself. He is so heavily involved and will answer any question or concern you have. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful class, teachers are there to instruct but also make sure you are safe, they explain every bit of the course very clearly and make sure everyone, whatever their level might be, progress while feeling confortable. They are aware of who they are teaching to and adapt to make sure everyone progresses. Once you are on the road, they will, without telling you, take some groups that they see are more at ease on more highways, some group that struggle a little more will be guided on secondary roads where they can rehearse the more "basic" skills. Overall, very great experience, I would recommend this school to anyone doing their bike license!

Amazing service I want to say thank you to the mortys team for taking care of everyone in the classes ensuring saftey and respect to all student and a special thank to my motorcycle instructors ( T , Phil, and big Bruce) they knew I had experience on bikes and just being in the closed circuit course for 4 sessions I improved and sharpened a lot of areas I felt I was already good at!! Amazing guys will always joke around make you feel comfortable and safe! Fantastic experience: Originally I did my driving classes at Tecnic. During my second to last in car lesson, I had an instructor who kept on repeating that I’ll never get my licence if I drive like that at the exam and stuff like are you trying to kill me? All in all I’ve never hated driving so much. Eventually I got another instructor and managed to finish school. I’ve done my first saw exam a few months later and failed, obviously. Then, in between my second exam and the first one, I took one single lesson with Morty’s, one week before that second try. I managed to learn more during that one class than in the two years’ of driving with Tecnic. In the end, Oren, one of the instructors was actually really cool. When finished, he told me some points on which I should improve and even gone as far as sending me different techniques for parking, etc. Awesome, one week after the drive with Morty’s, I had my SAAQ exam and passed, yes PASSED, and the examiner told me that I drive really good etc etc. I passed thanks to that one class with this school. I actually thank them a lot for helping out and if I could, I’d give like 10 stars. Professionalism and quality of instruction is on fleek 150% recommend to anyone who wishes to drive in the future.

I had an unforgettable experience with mortys. I would highly recommend this school since they do have a very high passing rate for closed track exam compared to other schools. And everything is well arranged you don’t even have to book the exam. My favorite instructor is phill. He is so kind and on my exam day, he gave me lots of advice before my turn, and explained other students’ mistakes during the exam. That was really really helpful. I’ll definitely come back to mortys after 11 months for my open road test !! ( and also theoretical classes weren’t boring at all, itineraries for on-road training were super nice. I love it ! Fantastic experience: Great experience ! Definitely recommend Morty's Driving school to anyone who wishes to start their drivers/motorcycle license. I did my motorcycle classes with them and the instructors were very helpful and professional. It was clear from the start of my course that the students safety on the road was their number one priority. The test prep they offer for the closed circuit exam is also very helpful. Thanks to them, I was able to pass my closed circuit exam at the SAAQ on the 10th of September.

Fantastic experience: Lets just say, out of 10 Morty's students. 10 out of 10 will pass saaq exams first try ( most of the time). Meanwhile half of the students from other schools will fail on first exam. THAT is EXACTLY what happened today at my saaq closed track exam. Obviously I go to Morty's and passed. That goes to show you how good the instructors are at this school.

Fantastic experience: I took my motorcycle course with Morty's and it is the best decision I've made! The teachers will provide you all the help and practice you'll need to pass your 6A license and your full license. I'm now part of this family and I am confident riding my motorcycle on the road.
