Fantastic experience: I had the most insightful theoretical and practical lessons from TONY and AMBROSE at Pacific Riding School. They genuinely want you to obtain your license and become a confident and responsible driver in real life. I can’t thank them enough for their sincere support, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends. I also cleared my road test today. Thank you so much again for all the teachings.

Fantastic experience: A great riding school with a great reputation and for good reason. My instructor Tony was an absolute legend, and joy to learn from. He's got a great passion for learning and teaching and gives just the right amount of attention and freedom to new and experienced riders so that they feel right at home on two wheels. I purchased a bike a week after completing training and felt well prepared to start my riding journey. A great emphasis on slow speed maneuvering, throttle control, and clutch control during class paid dividends in allowing me to feel confident in getting on the road.

Fantastic experience: Have taken the advanced course 2-3 years ago and a tip from the instructor (Regan) made all the difference to an annoying self-confidence issue I had for years making u-turns. Sometimes I could do a reasonable radius u-turn and sometimes it struck fear in me to lean the bike at all. No amount of "head and eyes, head and eyes" instructions on numerous youtube videos helped. Regan's simple hints: 'Think of your eyes as being on your chest. And leaning the bike always feels unnatural'. These two things have allowed me to continue training at mall parking lots and I can now do full lock u-turns at will with a 1400cc sport bike. The confidence it has instilled has spilled over into improving other aspects of riding skills and more enjoyment. Thanks PRS and thanks Regan!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Pacific Riding School! As a complete beginner who had never even sat on a motorbike, I was nervous, but Travis and Tony were incredible instructors. Travis’s theory lessons were super informative, and Tony made the riding lessons so much fun and manageable. I also met Summer, who brought such calm and positive energy during my MST. Special shoutout to Taro, who helped me and gave me the confidence during the group ride to YVR airport. Thanks to all of them, I was confidently riding at 80 km/h on the highway after just four sessions. Today, I passed my road test and got my full Class 6 license. Huge thanks to everyone at Pacific Riding School—you guys rock.

Fantastic experience: Joel and Ambrose are brilliant instructors. If you're an experienced rider from another country and you're not familiar with motorcycle street sense in Canada, they will work their magic to help you unlearn old habits and relearn new ones seamlessly. If you're a first-timer, they will ensure you understand the discipline of riding a two-wheeler thoroughly. Highly recommended!

PRS is not only a school where you learn all the important skills, but also a support community to share stories and help each other gain confidence. Fantastic experience: I was recommended this course through friends and even though I already had my MST motorcycle license, I felt that freshening up my riding knowledge and skills would be beneficial. I decided to take the street course at Pacific Riding School, expecting to reinforce what I already knew. Little did I know, their one week course would significantly deepen my understanding of street riding and enhance skills I thought I had mastered. The three instructors, Dat, Ambrose, and Reagan, did an incredible job presenting the course material. They ensured we understood the realities of riding on the street and, more importantly, how to survive on the road. If you think you know how to ride, believe me, this course will make you question your previous confidence and realize how much more there is to learn. Since I already had my MST, I wasn't required to retake the test, which would have incurred an additional fee. However, Kirsten, the exceptional office manager, assured me that if I didn’t book my road test in time and needed to redo my MST test, they would not charge me for that portion of the course. Kirsten's dedication to ensuring students have all the right materials and feel comfortable throughout the process is commendable. What truly impressed me about this course was the family atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a classroom but rather a family ensuring their members know the dos and don'ts of riding, sharing all there years of knowledge and experiences to help you survive on the streets. Upon completing the course, Kirsten scheduled a mock test for me, which I highly recommend. This mock test simulates the real road test, allowing you to work out nerves and correct mistakes before the actual test. After the mock test, Kirsten booked my road test a few days later, and I passed with no errors! I can honestly say that without the support and expertise of everyone at Pacific Riding School, I wouldn’t have passed my road test. What I thought I knew was significantly enhanced by their guidance. Each person at Pacific Riding School displays immense passion and dedication to their craft, and this is evident in the quality of their instruction. If you are looking for a riding school to prepare you for the MST or road test, I highly, highly recommend this course. You will not regret it. Just show up, listen, and let their expertise guide you to success. Thanks again to the team at Pacific Riding School. I will definitely be back for other courses they provide.

Fantastic experience: Thank you PRS for helping me fulfill a dream I never thought would ever come true. The patience my instructors had with me and the support was above and beyond. This was a very challenging journey for me but I completed the course and had SO much fun on the group rides this weekend even with all the rain !!! If your considering riding school this is the one for you! I decided I wanted more lot training because I didn't feel ready for the MST and group rides so I came back and the group I was with was incredible. I almost gave up a few times but persevered and now I can officially ride !! Ill be fine tuning those skills and riding with my husband!! To some people it may just be riding a motorcycle but to me, this is finding my power again and healing in ways I could never explain.. Thank you doesnt even begin to express the gratitude I have. Fantastic experience: I was introduced to Pacific Riding School (PRS) through a friend and it was the best intro ever. I feel confident in riding a motorcycle and looking forward to challenging my road test this spring in Calgary. While the cost is slightly higher than other riding schools in Alberta or BC, it’s due to the increased time spent on the motorbike to improve your riding skills in comparison to the other schools. Do your research and you’ll see why. More riding practice will not only ensure you pass the road test but ensures the safety for you as a rider and others on the road. I plan on taking more classes during my holidays back in BC with PRS!

Fantastic experience: Going to Pacific Riding school is my best decision before going to the road. Having more than 20 years of experience on the road, it's doesn't mean that I know everything, to be honest after trying and learned different skills from knowledgeable and experienced intructors all I knew is just a basic riding. Fantastic experience: Just finished my ICBC Certified Street Course and couldn't be happier. Starting with the first day of classroom work with Joel who made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. I was most impressed with Tony who did all of our parking lot and road rides. He takes his job seriously yet brings some levity to the topic at hand, reminding us all that riding should be safe AND fun. Tony's attention to detail is what really impressed me. He took nothing for granted and made sure everyone understood the material before moving on. As a business manager myself, I would be more than proud to have him as a leader on my team. The instructors, Brose and Kramer, were fantastic. I had never touched a motorcycle before, and was scared and anxious. My wife and I just completed the ICBC Certified Street Course in Comox, BC (numerous thanks for taking your training out to other communities) and we cannot say enough good things about the 5-star experience we had with PRS. From booking with Kristen who was incredibly efficient, patient and helpful with registration and answering all our questions to the wealth of knowledge and truly Masters level training from Brose and Kramer/Mark; PRS is on another level when it comes to motorcycle training. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn the foundations on how to ride smart and safe with this amazing organization. We are 55, my wife was terrified and enrolled at the last minute, Brose and Kramer’s guidance made her feel comfortable and safe on the bike and she is talking about going shopping for a bike. Fantastic experience: I'm a teacher, and I was thoroughly pleased with the entire course and the school. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. Michele and Reagan were incredibly patient and very encouraging. Kirsten was also very accommodating when I needed to change my course start date. The bikes were easy to use and in great shape. The first three days were theory and the MSF test, which were also great, but the last two days, including the longer rides, were exceptional: they let me consolidate everything I learned, and by the end I was much more confident with my skills as a rider. I know my limitations and I know that I have a lot more to learn, but I feel know that I *know* what I don't know, and have a plan to improve my skills over the next year or so before I take my full class 6 test. This was an amazing experience and I will definitely take more courses through PRS. Thanks so much for your patience with and kindness towards me!

Fantastic experience: "Full props to Ambrose for handling a diverse group with different backgrounds. Some like me went from zero to riding in a staggered pack at highway speeds in a dark 3deg C drizzle in 4 not so easy lessons. lol. On our final ride I learned how important it is to ride with people who will protect you from any 'Clowns' out there who are trying to scare you or make you crash. Maximum respect to my fellow classmates! You have all increased my odds of making it to Full license status."

Fantastic experience: If you're looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle safely and well, there's no where better to go than PRS. Today, I passed my road test on the first try, and I have to thank PRS for it. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and also practical. Although I had initially taken the intro course in 2009, but never taken my road test, when I decided I wanted to get back on a bike this summer, they signed me back up for a refresher and MSA and got me feeling confident on a bike again after only 1 day. With an emphasis is on safety from the first day, I haven't forgotten many of the lessons I learned from PRS, and even have skills that make feel safer as a driver. With ICBC road test wait times being up to 6 months, I highly recommend signing up for their mock tests as well when you get an appointment (I did two!); I'm so glad I did because it was immediately clear to me that I wouldn't have passed without their feedback and coaching on the road test. Ask for Travis K! He's detailed oriented, patient and a hoot! His non-stop commentary on the dashcam video of me riding taught me a lot about what I needed to change. Thank you PRS!

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic riding school. I had a great experience. This school gives you the knowledge you need to be safe on the road. The instructors were friendly, funny and helpful. Even if you've never ridden a motorcycle, this class can prepare you. They have a large selection of bikes to choose from for all sized riders. If you've had previous road experience before like me, this class can still give you valuable knowledge. I highly recommend taking this school if your trying to get your license and want to stay safe and alive.

Fantastic experience: 我在这个学校学完了初级的课程，课程第一天是关于摩托车的操作和必须注意的事项，后面几天是练习，最后两天是街道，城市和学员教练一起骑行，学费不到一千，不算贵，里面有中文教练，我的教练是Reagan,课程比较紧凑，但是可以学的东西挺多，开始我比较担心英文的沟通，因为我的英文半斤八两，但是Reagan 很耐心的教导我，帮助和引导我做正确的方式来解决问题，里面的人很不错，这里还有很多关于摩托车的专业课程，对于想学摩托车的中国人来说这里是很好的选择；这个学校没做什么广告，因为在西人圈子里他们很出名，但是中国人知道的不是很多，我也是偶然在Vansky 上打听到的，现在我已经可以单独骑行。谢谢这里所有的专业人员，还有我的教练Reagan ，很棒的一次经历！

Negative experience: Tony and embrose are terrible and rude teachers. They don't even teach you anything. For someone who has never been on a bike before I was yelled at in front of everyone and made fun of. This is not a school for first time riders who have never been on a bike before. These two men have no patience. Kramer and Chris were very nice and tried to help. I DO NOT recommend these guys for first time riders, especially women.

Fantastic experience: Took their course In May 2021 and the way they teach makes it a fun hands on experience they implemented essential skills into my head that I still remember a year later that helped me pass my road test after 6months of not riding a motorcycle! Fantastic experience: Overall my experience at pacific riding school was great. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and it shows in the way they teach. The classroom sessions are very engaging and the training in the parking lot really allowed me to practice riding skills. My favorite part of this riding school was definitely the Vancouver ride. I would highly recommend this riding school to anyone wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: If you are going to be riding a motorcycle this course is a must do if you want to survive on a the road and highway. My oldest son took it 11 yrs ago and I'm taking it now with my youngest son since I haven't ridden a motorcycle in 35 years. So much I didn't know. The full day ride on the last session shouldn't be missed. What you learned will be engrained in your riding because of it.

The courses are designed to be very engaging and fun to participate in. And in the end, you come out a better, safer rider all the while having a blast on a bike. Fantastic experience: Fantastic learning experience. The instructors have that perfect balance of caring and assertiveness that makes you want to lean in and learn faster. I am still working on it, but I feel like a safer driver and rider for sure.

Fantastic experience: I took the five-day daytime course this September. Highly recommended for anyone regardless of previous riding experience. Enjoyable knowledgeable instructors and relaxed and fun learning environment. The program (in speaking with friends and colleagues who’ve taken other trainers) is superior to others. Final day, survival riding was a course in itself. Well worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Great Riding School! I'm a brand new rider so I completed the 5 day road course, 3 extra full day rides and the Adventure Riding course. The instructors, facility, bikes, courses were all fantastic and fun. I recommend booking 2-3 extra full day riding session on top of the 5 day course; very valuable to ride along with the group and learn road hazards from the instructor. Big eye opener to see how different it is, car vs. motorbike. Adventure class was a ton of fun, this is a must if you plan on off-roading. Big thanks to Kirsten, Tony, Reagan, Ambrose, Dat, Mark, Malcom and RD.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend these guys enough! I took the learn to ride course and honestly everyone that's learning to motorcycle should be made to take it too. The course was extremely thorough and the lessons covered far exceeded that of what is required for the skills or road test. They provided lots of individual feedback and really hammered home the key points when riding which could save your life one day. To top it all off the staff here are absolutely amazing! We had Brose as our instructor and he was an absolute legend! If you're going to learn motorcycling or even want to improve your skills these are the guys to go to!

Fantastic experience: The instructors are top-notch. Mark, Brose, and Bing are all great characters who are passionate about training and preparing new riders. The street level 1 course has 4 different options to suit your schedule, and the value is through the roof. They tailor the instruction to each student's skill level and ability, and teach students to self-reflect on their progression. Tonight is our first road ride in the course, and I cannot wait. Fantastic experience: I was hesitant whether I should attend a motorcycle school or just take individual one-on-one training sessions from an instructor elsewhere in the same manner as getting a driver's license. After multiple referrals and the reputation I've read this school has built I can honestly say that I have zero regrets for choosing to attend at PRS. They will not only teach you how to ride a bike and prepare you for the road, but they teach you invaluable road sense that you don't get from ICBC motorcycle hand books. The credentials and experience of the instructors speak for itself. I came into the MST/Road Test prep program with no motorcycle experience. I was blown away by how efficient and well paced this course is for riders of all skill levels. You will learn proper technique and build confidence be it for leisure riding or sport riding. I have to commend the instructors, namely: -Rigz for giving professional advice and understanding the beginners learning process -Sandy for being very patient and moving on only when you're ready -Michelle for being hilarious and getting us involved and creating motorcycle interest -Dat for engaging the class through his knowledgeable back ground and passion to ensure safe riding. I can go on about how amazing this school is. Not only is it good for learning to ride, but its also a fun experience that you get to enjoy with other people learning to ride. Fantastic experience: I have just completed the PRS ICBC-certified street course and I can honestly say, hand-on-my-heart, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had sober. 6 days of learning how to ride, interjected each night with an excellent classroom lesson on safety, and riding theory, made for the perfect combo. And the instructors… They were hugely supportive, great company, and just emanated their absolute passion for biking, combined with fantastic teaching skills. No one should be allowed to buy or ride a bike, before doing this course. It was worth every single penny.

Fantastic experience: After 35 years away from riding, I took the beginner's Street Course as a refresher before shopping for my new bike. My experience at Pacific Riding School was beyond expectations. It felt like a professionally designed curriculum, not just for a riding school, but for any school. The instructors are focused, and maintain nice control over the learning experience. The assistant instructors help coach you and help improve your technique every step of the way. It was an excellent combination of classroom theory, and two days of practice on a closed course, followed by two days of guided street riding and debriefing sessions afterwards. They train you step-by-step from the ground up, and provide a fully maintained and fueled bike, and all the equipment you'll need. All you have to bring are your own boots, your own lunch, and your bicycle riding skills at minimum. You'll come away with basic motorcycle riding skills, and some knowledge of what to practice how to survive on the streets. You'll be trained and tested to prepare for your ICBC motorcycle license exam. This is an excellent course to do for fun even if you're not planning on riding!

Fantastic experience: Amazing job done by the instructors at PRS. They have various schedules that can fit in your lifestyle to take up the course. Once again, everything is synchronized so well, from classroom studies to the parking lot session and from real world road practice to the mock test. Highly Recommended! Fantastic experience: Just finished my course. All the instructors were really knowledgeable. Really enjoyed how the course is separated into classroom, parking lot training and road riding. I definitely felt more confident as I progressed. It also helps the instructors were encouraging and friendly but weren't afraid to call out mistakes that could be detrimental to riding.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! I have done my course here back in April 2019. 30 days later, I passed the Class 6 full motorcycle roadtest (with help from PRS of course). Dat and Ted were awesome. They do know what they are talking about and been around the riding industry for a long time. If you were thinking of getting your motorcycle license, go to PRS! They dont just teach you how to ride, but also (more importantly) they teach you how to be safe out there. This will be the best $800+ you'll ever spend!
