Negative experience: A mannerless instructor. Don’t go with him if you value your time because he doesn’t. Really bad at showing up on time, not good at communicating with you about the schedule. And moreover, he speaks/murmurs in some random language(Indian language I guess) while driving even if he know that I don’t speak that language. Some random dude who got instructor license and decided to make some easy money sitting on the passenger seat doing nothing. Teaching is not for you. For everyone’s benefit, please shutdown your school and use your car for some other businesses.

Fantastic experience: First of all, i passed the road test on FIRST ATTEMPT and all thanks to my instructor Mr. Shahbaz. Am glad i choosed the best driving school in town. As i had no experience in driving i took the Ultra driving course (15 hours) which really helped me learn driving and also took a 90 min practice lesson just before the road test. Mr. Shahbaz is very knowledgable, skilled and humble person. He is a very good instructor and patiently taught me new skills everyday and would make me practice until i was perfect. This is something i really liked about his classes. He teaches you with safety and gives a detailed explanation of the rules and why they exists. He gives excellent tips while driving. Fantastic experience: First of all, I passed class 5 test in first attempt. Even though I drove a lot in UAE, I was getting confused in different rules especially in left turns. Since I am working professional and did not have luxury to spend a lot of time, so I opted for "Fast Track Option" which has reasonable price as well. Regarding the instructor, Mr. Shahbaz is well-versed and has been in industry for several years. He noted every single mistake about my driving and explained solution according to law with logic as well and by the end of training, all my doubts were cleared. In addition to that I like one more thing, in the end he quickly repeated my mistakes with solutions which I kept in my mind in road test. In short, I highly recommend this school for others as well.

It is strongly recommended that those friends who live in other places but have an appointment for the Abbotsford road test try their Fast track course, it is worth the money.

Negative experience: Reviews were so good we decided to drive out from New Westminster. Yeah -- took over an hour to get there because we had to fight Abbotsford Airshow traffic but arrived with 2 minutes to spare. NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!!! The sad part is I booked this a month in advance as my son had a very small window of time to fit in a lesson. I gave one star because they did refund the money, but no discount offered for another time slot, no compensation at all. They did say they could meet an hour later - same full price and we'd have to waste an hour waiting. Sadly, very poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: First off, I passed the road test on my first try. I never driven before so I booked the Premium Driving Course( 10 hours) and also the Road test Package ( An hour practice drive before the actual road test). Each session, the instructor will add in a new skill and get you to practice them until you feel comfortable. What really helped me was every time, I had a lesson, I practice at least an hour after on my own just to get myself familiar with what I just learned. Overall, maple driving is highly recommended. Minutes before the road test, the instructor will be with you and will do some brush up. Good luck!

He trained me for sometime and passed the road test to my Class 5 Drivers Lisence after failing the test for four times! I would recommend Maple driving school over and over again.

Negative experience: No student in the car, and I almost got hit by a maple driving school car by who I can only assume was a driving instructor when I was walking in a cross walk 5 minutes ago. More attention is definitely needed.

The lessons were spot on, I did several 90 minute sessions a month before my exam, and passed. I was able to use the hybrid car they provided which was a bonus. He was able to pick me up from easy locations and the price was definitely affordable for the quality service I received. Highly recommend.

He's very encouraging and patient, and gives simple tips to help you understand how to fix your errors effectively. Parking is a piece of cake as well with his methods. Positive experience: Had a rather strange experience with this school. I took a "refresher" course of 2 lessons before going for a road test. First lesson was fine. But on the day of the second lesson and the road test the instructor was not friendly and even aggressive because I refused to take additional lesson the same morning. He also said, that I'm lucky that he'll allow to use his car for the road test, and that's just because I had already paid for it before =) Hope that the instructor just had a bad day and he'll be communicating his thoughts in a non-aggressive manner and well in advance.

Fantastic experience: I failed 3 times at another ICBC location before I call Maple Driving School. I couldn't thank Mr. Shabaz enough for preparing me for my 4th try of Class 7 road test in such a short time( about 2 weeks). He is a super knowledgable instructor and patience, he doesn't rush things and picks up on bad habits and keep letting you practice on them until you master them as required. My parallel parking and reverse parking during the test was succesful because of his correct instructions. Hes is the best, I would absolutely recommend him!

His lessons are all about details, efficiencies, and kindness. While he is extremely thorough and keen at observing your driving and picking out the bad habits, he is also the nicest and most patient instructor you can enjoy chatting with. He especially uses the limited lesson hours very efficiently, ensuring you to constantly practice your weakest skills all while still covering various different parts of the driving. In addition to thoroughly correcting your mistakes, he also gives out helpful tips that aid you to drive or park with ease. For example, I always used to have trouble making smooth turns. Mr. Shabaz was quick enough to catch that I was either turning too fast or slow. He then made me to consistently practice my turns while patiently checking every time I make a turn. Yet, he also ensured to cover all other parts such as lane changes, roundabouts, different parking, three-point turn, merging into a highway, etc. He also gave out several tips that allowed me to efficiently reverse and parallel park much faster and easier. I want to sincerely thank Mr. Shabaz for guiding me to pass my class 5 test. I cannot recommend anyone better for a kind, patient, and efficient driving instructor.
