Fantastic experience: I recently completed a 3-day session (5 hours in total) with The Truth Driving School and also took their road test package, which included a 1-hour warm-up before the test. From the name alone, this school lives up to its promise—it truly teaches "The Truth" about becoming a safe and responsible driver. It’s not just about preparing for the road test, but about learning essential skills for life on the road and beyond. After two unsuccessful road tests in the Surrey area (with different instructor) - the last road test I had was 1 year and 10 months ago. I decided to switch to The Truth Driving School because my final address is in Vancouver. It made sense to take my test nearby. I’m so grateful for this decision! The instructor was incredibly patient, calm, and encouraging throughout my sessions. He focused on building my confidence, using positive reinforcement to help me correct my mistakes without making me feel bad. Instead of just pointing out errors, he guided me in a way that motivated me to improve and succeed. Alex is an excellent instructor: He is very clear and can explain things in a very easy to understand process. I had struggled with my left turns and he was able to teach me a simple, yet effective strategy to execute it confidently and safely. I had my road test at the Lougheed location and he is very knowledgeable in the various routes that the examiners may take you on. He prepares you for everything that you need to be aware of (school zones, playground zones, and any other unfamiliar routes). The road test route I went on was covered exactly in one of our driving lessons. It is safe to say that Alex boosted my confidence as a driver and I would highly recommend the Truth Driving School. Fantastic experience: After procrastinating for ages, I finally decided to book my class 5 road test and looked for an instructor. I came across the Truth Driving School on Google with all its five-star reviews, and although I was skeptical of these reviews at first, decided to give it a shot. I booked a four lesson package and had Nick and Alex as my instructors. They were both patient and gave me some great tips and lessons on improving my driving. Two days before the exam, the car I was hoping to use had a warning sign on the dash, which meant it wasn’t going to be acceptable for the test. So I immediately called Alex to ask him if he can arrange a car for me for an additional charge and he managed to get that done for me. It came with a one hour practice session just before the exam time and that really helped calm my nerves. I passed my exam in one go! I’m very grateful to both Nick and Alex for their wonderful teaching skills, and totally recommend TDS!
