Fantastic experience: I came across Pakcan School while browsing ICBC-approved instructors. There were a lot of options, but I had to book one on short notice as my road test was just a few days later, Khumarr took little time to answer and told me he was available. The practice session I had with him was excellent; he pointed out what I was doing wrong and what I needed to fix if I wanted to pass the exam. He even drew how I was turning and told me why it was wrong and how to fix it, which is crucial to correcting mistakes. A huge piece of advice he shared, and I think everyone can benefit from, is patience. Don't rush. I took this to heart and passed on my first try, so for anyone thinking whether they should book with him or not, I will say 100% do it.

Fantastic experience: Just took a warm up session prior to the road test and it was good enough to pass the test. I appreciate my instructor.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I received my ICBC Knowledge Exam Results on a Saturday, I tried to book a Class 5 Road Test 2-3 weeks after so I can at least prepare/practice but there were no more open. A lot of slots got freed up for Monday-Wednesday, probably because you won’t get charged if you cancel 3 days before your Road Test. The next available schedule would be 30-45 days, so I said to myself, you’re going to take the Driving Exam anyways you might as well take it now and if I fail, my next available schedule is next month, at least I would know my mistakes. We have no car yet and from the other blogs, they are saying that you could use the Driving School’s car. (1hr Mock Road Test and free use of the car for the Actual Road Test) While browsing, I found Packan to be decent and of course have high ratings. So I called the number here and asked if they are free on Wednesday. I paid Tuesday and we met Wednesday 2 hrs before my Road test. It’s a driving school car, with an extra removable steering wheel on the passenger side with lots of mirrors which also helped me. Since he’s been doing this for more than 14+ years, you would see a very confident instructor and he is! He told me a lot of stuff that made me even more nervous. Things that I would need while on the Road Test. He emphasized the SHOULDER CHECKS. Parking on a curb, Turning left, etc.. I made a couple of mistakes even for an experienced driver myself which greatly helped. After the Mock Road Test, we went to ICBC office, Nervousness lessened, confidence upped a bit. Passed the ICBC Road Test on Take 1. Can’t recommend Packan enough. Highly Recommended!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Driving instructor Khurrum was really good, shown me the test routes, signages to look out for, explained all my questions patiently, at times he will be little strict as his intent is to make you good driver and really want you to pass the road test! I would definitely recommend him as I have passed road test on first attempt after couple of classes.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express grateful I am of a Ambar and her teaching module for helping me pass, I took 5 lessons in addition to a mock test and I passed first try with only one fault. Ambar made me feel confident and comfortable on the road and made things very easy and clear to understand without overwhelming me. I recommend going to her for sure if you want to succeed in driving!

Khurram sir is very knowledgeable, flexible and kind. He is very efficient at scheduling and considers our lesson needs. He assessed my skills and correct them properly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Khurram is an excellent driving instructor and very keen to teach his students the right way of driving. He was always very kind, patient and insightful when I first started learning driving with him.
