Negative experience: Very disappointing! Not sure how they got all the good google reviews! The good reviews was the reason I registered here but after a very few driving sessions, I stopped and changed to another school (which was amazing). The instructor was neither respectful nor professional! He was using all types of strategies and lies to make you get more sessions with him! During my first ever driving session, Mr Kumar was on the phone talking to another client to set up a time! Later I met another person who also switched schools and had an awful experience!

Mr. Kumar is a fantastic teacher: he is a kind and very patient instructor, and knows exactly what to do help you improve as a driver. I enrolled back in 2019, but due to the pandemic, I couldn't finish my driving sessions before the end of my contract. Yet, if it weren't for him, I would have had to restart all of my driving courses in a different school. Now, I can proudly say that Mr. Kumar helped me finish my driving sessions in 2023 and pass the practical exam at Henri-Bourassa on the first try. Positive experience: I was able to pass the exam on the first attempt, one of the routes I took on my lessons with Mr. Kumar was exactly the same as the one I had to take during my road test, the familiarity of the road made it easier for me despite the anxiety of the examination. Fantastic experience: Passed my driving after frequent lessons and taking the extra lessons. The staff are professional and frank. They criticize the objective mistakes and how to correct them. For the subjective mistakes like habits they often repeat the proper way to avoid/repeat the bad habit. They are very accommodating to your time schedule and will often ask your preferred day and time to take the lessons so that you can finish the course within the obligated time frame. For the theory class online it's a must to have a stable internet connection to avoid getting disconnected and interruptions on the lesson. Once again thank you sir Kumar!

This school is very accommodating and flexible, they have theory classes online and experienced teachers on the road. Fantastic experience: With destination driving school I was able to obtain my license despite my personal limited time constrains thanks to Mr. Kumar, the driving instructor, and his efficiency with providing practice and theory driving classes. Mr. Kumar corrected my driving mistakes throughout the classes and made time for me in a way that bigger driving schools can not always keep up with due to overcrowding and their less personal and friendly approach. I was able to pass both my theory and practical road exam first try thanks to the honest feedback and advice given to me and after the school went above and beyond to help me find appointments for my exams. He shares regular feedbacks and let you know areas we are improving and areas we are lacking and then focus on those areas. Fantastic experience: I had my road test today at Henri Bourassa and passed the first time. Mr. Kumar showed me all the possible exam routes during practice. The best part was, during the exam, we took one of the routes that we did during the practice. The exam took about 20 minutes, quite faster than what I was expecting. I would suggest to anyone to do the practice before taking the road test. There are tricky parts on the exam route and familiarization is required. Fantastic experience: Destination Driving School is a great and small driving school. They have great teachers that are compelled for you to succeed when taking your final driving test. Although it is a smaller school than most, the staff are caring and nice. They can be strict when it comes to making mistakes on the road, but it keeps the learning driver to stay focused the whole time. With time and pushes given from the school, I was able to ace the writing exam and the driving exam first shot. They make you feel like a second family, to break the ice and to reduce nervousness while both teaching in-class and in car. In all seriousness, I do recommend attending this school. Negative experience: He is not very professional. As a student (if taking one year course) you always have to text him for having classes and on the driving day itself would always arrive 15 to 35 minute late.

Mr. Kumar is a highly skilled instructor with an intention of offering his students the best. He is a perfectionist and continuously pushes his students master the maneuvers and respect the traffic rules. In addition, Mr. Kumar offers both the theory classes and the in-car sessions in earliest possible time. Once cleared the knowledge test, I booked an appointment for the road test in about one month. But I had two theory classes and several in-car sessions left to complete the school. Therefore, I thought I was not gonna make it and wanted to cancel the appointment. But Mr. Kumar encouraged me to keep the appointment and offered all of the remaining classes before the day of my road test. I passed the road test at the very first shot and got my license in only 1 year and 25 days since getting my learner's permit. Fantastic experience: I passed my written exam on Monday and was lucky enough to get a road test for Wednesday. With 48 hours to practice I called Destination DS (I have a driver license from another country). They were supper accommodating and gave me 2 hrs lessons for 3 days. I would have definitively failed otherwise, but thanks to the right advise I passed on my first try. The instructor was very chill and some times felt like he wasn´t paying attention, but he was and everything he told me was actually in the test. Big thanks! I highly recommend them.
