Fantastic experience: I took my G2 road test at the Walkley location and passed on the first attempt. Prior to the test, I took several lessons with Winifred. He was a very patient and informative instructor, which is essential if you don't have much driving experience. I'm not sure if I could've passed the test on the first attempt without his lessons. He knew what was needed to successfully pass the test, what the examiners were looking for, and the Walkley area well. If you take two lessons with him per week for a few weeks, I guarantee you that the test would be much easier, especially if you're a relatively new driver. For context, I didn't drive for several months and didn't have much driving experience before I took the lessons. He was able to answer any questions I had relative to the test, the rules of the road, and driving in general. On that note, I would recommend that you come to the lessons with a set of questions to get the most out of them. Additionally, book lessons with him specifically. To be candid, I didn't have a good experience with the first instructor (he was sarcastic, rude, and domineering), which could've soured my whole opinion of the school. That said, when I was assigned to Winifred in my subsequent lessons after the first lesson (I called the school to change instructors after the first lesson), the difference was night and day.

Negative experience: I would give zero star but I have no choice. I took 20 hours theory classes and practical in the car in 2015, I was happy and I recommend ed all my friends in Jim’s driving school. I believed I am the first person to get in this school from our community. You can check last name( RAI) all i referred. Finally, my wife took online plus driving and she finished and passed her road test. Her instructor Wenifred told her to get certificate from service Ontario, she went but school didn’t send her papers and she had to pay money. She didn’t get certificate. I called the school and I went in person, receptionist asked my wife registration forms and the receipt and I gave to her. She was so rude impolite, she you got the money. What is wrong? She didn’t send her papers for 3 weeks. My wife had wait three weeks for her insurance.God Damn

I would say it's a big challenge in my life experience since I was very scared of driving and not even want to start to learn until I recognize that it's a mandatory skill for my life. So I did research online and tried 5 different driving schools/instructors and it was still not working for me. I am still very scared on the road . Essentially, I searched online and found Jim's Driving School. When I was browsing the google review and found that Mr. Peyman is the driving instructor who got most compliments, then I think I should have another try before giving up! Now I think I made a very correct decision! As mentioned by other students, Mr. Peyman is very professional, patient and experienced instructor. He is not only teach me how to drive safely, but also guide me how to conquer my fear and nervousness, how to become confident on the road and how to challenge myself to achieve something that I never think I can make it before! Negative experience: DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. INSTRUCTORS GRAB THE WHEEL. I am a safe driver but I never felt safe driving during lessons. The instructor was a textbook micromanager and would grab the wheel mid-turn to make small adjustments if it wasn’t perfect. He would do this even when there wasn’t an immediate safety risk. Absolutely awful and I would feel fine driving until he did it without warning. This was terrifying and I failed my G2 solely because I lacked the confidence to go the limit at times and wouldn’t assert my right of way and hesitated at intersections. Having to drive next to him did that to me. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD.

Fantastic experience: I successfully completed my driving lessons at Jim’s driving school and my driving instructor was Mohammad Tahtouh. He was very patient and understanding with me from day 1. For someone who has always had a huge fear of driving, I challenged myself to sign up and learn…because it’s a necessary skill to have, and I had procrastinated it for the longest time. My instructor gave me very detailed explanations and directions on how to drive, and also answered my many questions and doubts about the rules of the road; He also explained using diagrams and illustrations, to clarify things further; He always made himself available to practice with me, especially in preparation for my G2 test. I took my G2 road test yesterday and I passed on my first attempt - I was extremely happy, proud of myself and super relieved! I’m really grateful to him for helping me, correcting me, challenging me and encouraging me to Trust myself, have Confidence in myself and be relaxed when I’m driving. I’ll definitely reach out to him again when I’ll be preparing for my G test. I totally recommend him and Jim’s Driving school.

Fantastic experience: I received good training that was relevant to the driving tests. The instructor was clear and firm which took getting used to but was an effective method. He made use of diagrams to explain better when it would get a bit confusing. I would recommend Mohammad to anybody wanting to get their license in a single attempt

Fantastic experience: I completed my G2 and G training with Mohammad Tahtouh, and I passed both exams on my first attempt. Mohammad is an excellent instructor who guided me through the entire learning process, starting from the basics and gradually building up to driving and navigating the highway. Thanks to his patient and comprehensive teaching style, I went from having minimal driving experience to confidently navigating daily traffic situations, both on and off the highway.

Negative experience: The School was great for learning the basics of driving but in terms of road instructors I cannot recommend Mohammed. He'll act as if he's doing you a favor and cuss you out when you make a mistake. This doesn't reflect the nature of the service Jim's provides, Mohammed just has a bad attitude.

Fantastic experience: Passed my G1 exit road test today! Huge thank you to Gihad, my driving instructor, because I definitely couldn't have done it without him!! I still remember in my first few hour lessons with him, he brought out a pen and paper and literally drew a rough sketch of an intersection and showed me the various right of way scenarios for making left turns at huge intersections. Having the visual beforehand really made me feel less nervous before actually performing the maneuvers on the road. If, like me, you're an anxious person who's nervous about driving, I definitely will recommend you go with Jim's school and specifically ask for Gihad, if you can you.

Fantastic experience: The online course was pretty boring and not super helpful, though it did have 1 or 2 engaging activities. For example, one of the online tests was designed as a basketball game. Overall though, the online course felt like it had too much unpractical information Despite that, this school still deserves 5 stars purely because of the driving instructors that I’ve had, such as Baymen. They were very patient and helpful. Thanks to them, I passed my G2 first try! They even let me text them questions after I finished my course, and they answer quickly. Superb people!
