Fantastic experience: Had an email miscommunication where I had booked for a downtown brush-up course on a weekday in the early afternoon, and was then told on the day of, while in the driver's seat, that a downtown course would have been more ideal on a weekend during non-peak times. I was miffed by this, but the instructor Ajay was friendly and open to teaching me through navigating the busy traffic of downtown. He provided a lot of good tips and pointed out the nuances of driving. I wish he was my instructor when I was a beginner, because I'm the type of person who is easily frazzled and needs driving techniques to be overexplained. It was due to difficulties with previous instructors that I needed an additional course to understand better driving. Thank you very much Ajay. My friends and family will be considering Active Driving School from now on

Negative experience: Do not recommend to anyone. Other driving schools are much more professional. I took a driving brush up lesson and it was okay, the instructor quoted my for car rental which was much higher than the registry. I booked my test and rental car from the registry, then I called the instructor to have a driving class before the test, he straight away asked me if I have booked a rental car and I said yes I booked a rental from the registry, after which he said I do not have time for a lesson (obviously because I didn't get the rental from him). I didn't pass and called him and no response, I texted him and no response, I booked a test again and messaged again and he said no time. I went to another driving school and the instructor was much better in training and there were so many new things I learnt which I didn't get from here. Not a good experience at all.

Negative experience: Personally, I won’t even give him a single star. I had my road test today at 12 PM and had a brush up lesson with him from 10 to 12 AM. This person comes to pick me up from my house at 10:30 AM for practice. I just simply wrote him a text that I don’t think we’ll be able to practice before the test. He just comes at my house and texts me: “If you don’t want, that’s fine”. I went out and he shouts out me and was really aggressive. He said it is a car, not a helicopter. I mean that’s his job to be on time before 5 minutes. He just rushed his car and drove while I was talking to him. I did not talk to him aggressively but I have faith in karma. Well, thanks to god that I cleared my road test today without needing his lessons. Definitely would not recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Wow ! I still couldn't believe that I have passed the class 5 Road test today in the first attempt after taking just 6 classes from Ajay. I never had experience of driving at all and Ajay helped me to learn how to drive safe along with being a nice &confident driver . Along with this ,he always used to be very active and ready to train. Fantastic experience: The Active Driving School Ajey work hard to teach new driver here in Alberta. He is the one who taught me how to park at the downhill park, uphill park and also when entering the school zone and play ground alway check the speed limit, check the pedestrian stop lights.p

Fantastic experience: Ajay was pretty instrumental in getting my license in one attempt. I was hesitant truly speaking as I just came from India but regular coaching from Ajay helped me. All I can say is - don’t think of a couple of additional classes if Ajay recommend. ( I was truly hesitant myself as we all have budget constraints) it’s better to prepare better than failing and re-doing it all. All the best to the new learners and highly recommend Active driving school and Ajay of-course for driving lessons and all the other tips I learned from him personally.
