Wilmot Driving School

Positive experience: The instruction in car and class were good. But my rating is low because of lack of communication and difficult to get ahold of. Instructor often late or cancels last minute. Also website advertising CAA membership after completing but when I asked for my daughter to get the membership they said she didn’t qualify for it. Website does not outline these rules. I’d recommend enrolling with them if you have patience

Fantastic experience: I had done driving lessons with Sadia and I’m so glad I got to learn from her. She has a very calm and collected teaching style and not once did she ever make me feel nervous while driving. She gave me great tactics to use while driving which were very helpful when I went for my G2 (I passed by the way!) I would most definitely recommend this driving school to anyone! Fantastic experience: Great driving school, good teachers, fast responses to phone calls and texts, and great flexibility with scheduling.

Negative experience: I was surprised to see the Toyota Prius with company name on roof doing 110 plus in a 90 zone passing trucks, dump trucks and other cars just to make it to McDonald's in New Hamburg.

Fantastic experience: Jonaid is such a good driving instructor. I went to many different driving schools in the area and failed several times but contacted this school and they were able to help me. I passed my G2 with Jonaid and Wilmot driving school and am very grateful for the support and help. He is a good instructor and is very helpful and gives you wonderful tips on the road. I was very nervous on the day of my test and still passed. I didn’t think I would get my license because I failed so many times and almost gave up, if it weren’t for Jonaid and Wilmot driving school I wouldn’t have my license. They take the time to teach their students properly and actually care. If you’re in the area I highly suggest going with this school and ask for Jonaid. Her ways of teaching and explaining are very helpful and I admire that she is dedicated to helping all of her students reach their driving goals. I couldn’t have had a better experience! If you are going to come to Wilmot Drivers Training, make sure to ask for Sadia as your instructor!

Fantastic experience: I was super nervous when i first started driving, but after my 10 lessons I’m now super confident :) my questions we’re always answered when needed.

Negative experience: First off, yes I am choosing to write this anonymously. I have 100% been a customer of this driving school, and been through it all. Where do I start. For the driving, it's sub-par. Nothing special, nothing terrible. Drivers are usually friendly. Now, onto the real part. Every single lesson is first off impossible to get. I mean weeks of contacting to hopefully get a reply, then if you are lucky to get one, it will 100% be delayed heavily, cancelled or cancelled. For example, asking for 3 weeks, then at one night getting a message saying "you are booked in for tomorrow at 8:30am." Then in the morning, at 7:45am being told it is delayed until 3pm. Frustrating, especially if you have work, school, etc. Onto the second major problem - the obsession with reviews. I have spoke to many other customers, and everybody has the same story. You get harassed, beraded, and begged to leave a 5-star review. There is no possible way of getting out without leaving it. 95% of the reviews on this page of from young students/customers, who have been begged to falsely leave reviews. I don't think google allows this type of stuff. It is to the point where they won't drive you home after a G2 test until a review is left, as a friend told me. I bet this driving school would not be over 2/5 stars if not for these fake reviews. I hope this review finds potential customers fast. Like I said, I am 100% a past customer and would not recommend this place to anyone. Everyone has the same experience, and typically falls into this trap because of fake reviews.

Fantastic experience: I have learned so much from Wilmot Driving School! When I first started I was terrified of driving but now thanks to my amazing instructor AJ, I have never been a more confident driver. AJ has so much patience and is such a funny guy and that makes learning from him so much easier and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of anxiety when it came to driving. I learned a lot with the online course. I also did 10 hour in car lessons. The school itself was very easy to contact with any questions I had, and all were answered within 24h. I would give a lot of credit to my driver instructor Terri Leigh. She helped build the confidence and skills I needed to be an independent and safe driver. I never thought I would be confident enough to drive a car on my own, but with her guidance I passed my g2 testing. I highly recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Sadia was an amazing instructor! Not only was she a joy to talk to, but she gave me helpful tips in concerns to road safety and driving maneuvers. Booking lessons with her was also very easy, and she always communicated quickly. I decided to use the G2 road test package (meaning I got to use Sadia’s car, and she drove me to and from the drive test centre). I am so glad I did because it gave me the confidence to pass my test! Fantastic experience: i had a really amazing experience with wilmot driving school! i was a bit of a nervous driver at first but both of my instructors were very calm, supportive, and gave clear instructions to help me improve and feel more comfortable on the road. aria and sadia also worked with my schedule and went above and beyond to make sure i was ready for my g2 test on a bit of a tight deadline. i passed the test but more importantly i feel confident in my driving abilities! i would really recommend this school to anyone looking for kind and patient instructors!

I'd definitely recommend to get trained by them as you'll learn to drive well and safe in just few hours of driving (good for your pocket!). Plus, they also help you by providing their car on the day of road test at an affordable price! Just make sure to book an appointment at your earliest that matches your schedule because they can be busy at times.
