Fantastic experience: I would like to share a milestone in my life as a Canadian citizen. Today, I took my road test at ICBC, and for once after taking some lessons at 604 Driving School, I passed satisfactorily, and I just can't describe how happy I was for the success. I have almost given up the idea of being able to get a license to drive in BC because of previous bad driving experience and habits I could not get rid off. I have lost interest and self confidence in driving entirely. But then I challenged myself to overcome this as a personal goal. I searched google to find one with a good rating and I tried contacting 604 Driving School. I can not be more pleased with my choice of school - my experience was just awesome, positive, very encouraging and fruitful. Edward was able to arrange a schedule for both of us (I work full time) and his schedule was also busy. First meeting, he assessed my driving skills. And then from there, he started with the basics and slowly going to the advanced lessons. In terms of professionalism, customer service, respect and courtesy, the ability to connect, communicate and encourage his student, skills and experience in instructing, safety, defensive driving, 604 and Edward is second to none. Edward, I could not thank you enough for making sure I pass this ICBC road test today. You are really a down to earth wonderful person. Fantastic experience: I took a lesson with Edward to brush up on my skills for my driving test, and he helped ease my anxiety by tackling my greatest insecurities on the road with helpful tips as well as making me feel prepared by taking me on challenging routes. His communication and teaching skills are excellent. I appreciated his chill and supportive attitude with helping students believe in themselves by believing in them first. Fantastic experience: 604 Driving school was very professional, efficient, and beneficial for my driving! It was my first interaction with instructor Edward and with only an hour warm up I received helpful tips and reference points to use during my class 7 road test to feel confident as a defensive driver. I was taken on an accurate route before my test and shown certain tricky areas with instructions on how to approach them. I was brought to these tricky areas during the test and because of the helpful advice before, I was familiar with them and confident approaching them when I otherwise would not have been. Edward’s patience and feedback helped me pass my road test as a nervous student despite it being my first session with him!

Fantastic experience: Gina is the most amazing driving instructor ever! I passed my first Class 7 (N) road test with zero faults!! A few years ago I tried to learn driving, but was never able to feel comfortable behind the wheel. That past instructor did not give me room to make mistakes and learn through experience. This time, however, with Gina, I was able to gain lots of confidence in just ~16 hours of classes. Gina is also very generous with her time, allowing us to often go past our class ending time, and always answers tricky questions with clear guidance and reassurance. Positive experience: I do not recommend 604 Driving School. They rescheduled my first class twice. I decided to go with another driving school. The first time was because some students have a driving test. The second time time, Edward gave me only 3 hours notice to cancel. I feel that my time is not respected. When I schedule for a class, I expect the instructor is available unless they are sick or there is an emergency. But it seems like he simply overbooked himself twice in a few days.

Fantastic experience: I went to 604 Driving School for some lessons prior to taking my class 5 test. I was quite stressed as I'm going to university out of province, and I only had a 2 week period in town to get used to driving again, and take my test. Edward was patient, informative, calming, and positive throughout our lessons. He used a whiteboard to visually demonstrate driving maneuvers which I found incredibly helpful. He instilled a confidence in me that made me feel comfortable and at ease when taking my test. I've had other driving instructors in the past, and I can wholeheartedly say Edward was by far the best.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about 604 Driving School. I’ve tried 3 different driving schools and so far 604 Driving School is the one that I have the BEST experience. Edward was very professional, attentive and very parient. He really teach me how to drive, giving me tips and pointing out things that I need to improve. He explain things in details and really take time to do it making sure it is clear. Another thing I really like about this school, Edward was very flexible in accommodating my schedule, something that the 2 other driving school lack. This is very important for me because of my busy schedule which is why I really appreciate his effort to accommodate my schedule. On top of all these, 604 Driving School rate is a lot more reasonable compared to other school. This is a huge factor as everything is expensive now. Whatever he charge is worth every penny for the excellent service that he provide. I also had an excellent experience with Gina, the other instructor. She’s very attentive too and a good driving instructor. I had few lessons with her while Edward was away and I was really with happy her service. I highly recommend this driving school. Before my test I had some road experience and thought I was ready for the test, I wanted to make sure I passed first time and so I got some lessons from Gina. As much practice as I had it didn’t compare to the knowledge that she was able to teach me. There are so many safety aspects and important things to know for a driving test that only someone like Gina can teach you. Today I passed my test on my first attempt and I can say with certainty that I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her! I would highly recommend 604 driving school to anyone taking a test, for me it was the difference between passing and failing. Thank you again for everything! :)

Fantastic experience: Amazing learning experience. If you have any doubt, don't be shy. Ask. The instructor asks to pull over the car and explains it on a whiteboard in detail until you understand clearly. They are very good in giving confidence and have a good idea of the routes around the test centers in Richmond. I enrolled with them for my class 5 license and passed.

Fantastic experience: My experience with my instructor Edward was excellent. Being new to BC and being rusty because I had not been driving for a while, I was able to pass my class 5 road test on my first attempt in 3 weeks. Thanks to Edward I was able to erase the bad habits I had acquired during my time driving outside of Canada. He is really clear with all his explanations (sometimes he'll even clarify ideas using his whiteboard) and is great calling you out when you're not making things in the right way. Additionally, he was really flexible when it came to scheduling lessons and the rental for the road test. The reviews already speak for themselves but I will strongly recommend Edward as an instructor to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had Gina as my instructor and she was the absolute sweetest! Very patient, kind, and encouraging with easy to understand instructions. For harder concepts, she also uses a whiteboard to illustrate driving patterns so they’re easier to visualize. Overall, great experience, thanks Gina!!

Fantastic experience: Edward was incredibly patient and friendly. As someone who is frequently anxious, driving with him allowed me to drive in a relaxed yet focused environment, and has greatly eased my transition from not knowing anything to learning the basics. Fantastic experience: In preparation for my Class 5L resit, I had lessons with Edward of 604 Driving School, who was phenomenal. He immediately put me at ease, was excellent in picking up and correcting my driving mistakes. He also made sure the lesson route covered the busiest intersections and highways within Richmond Lansdowne area, which was useful as I had booked my road test at ICBC Richmond Lansdowne.

Fantastic experience: Practical driving tips over and above what’s written in ICBC manual were provided by Edward, thus I was able to pass my road test. Edward was more like a coach - with his clipboard, pentel pen and magnetic cars - making it easier to grasp the driving skills needed here in BC. Apart from getting my Class 5 license, I’m now more confident to drive safely here. Highly recommended!
