Fantastic experience: My son just passed his G2 driving test! Right from the beginning this school was easy to work with. I encouraged my son to do in class lessons to make it quicker and then he was able to start learning with Noman. He really enjoyed the inclass and would remember the lessons he was taught. His evaluation on your driving is also very accurate. You will not only pass your road test in fewer attempts (my son passed his G2 and G on his first attempt with help from Tariq) but also you will know how to drive proper and safely. Fantastic experience: My grandfather, Lucius got me started driving his pickup truck in Trinidad. However, the driver was on the right despite it is a British colony. I did a lot of practice during this time in his yard. After my grandfather left, six years later, we couldn't find someone to take me out for a test drive. Thanks to Tariq, he did an excellent job explaining the concepts while driving, including the maneuvers. Now I can master those driving techniques wherever and whenever I drive. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with Tariq. Before talking to him I went for G directly and failed. Took a one hour lesson prior to the G2 test. He went over every thing checked all the test items to make sure I'm good with it and with his lessons and tips I passed the test very easily. I used his car to take the test. He has a very good car with a good and comfortable ride. Very generous with the amount of information he passes on even after the test for a safe driving experience in Canada. highly recommended. Thank you so much to Sabir who is a great teacher, instructor, punctual and understanding person. I remembered when I took my first lesson I had a lot nervous and anxiety because I had never drove and Sabir told my some words that I calmed down “You are doing well, you can do it and that gave me a lot of confidence”. He shared all knowledge with me. On some occasion I had to drive with a little bit of snow and rain, I felt nervous and Sabir calmed me down and reminded me that he trusted me and that nothing would happen, he told me that I could do it. So I started driving the car we have and he told me drive safely and apply everything you've learned in class. He told me, when you go to take your driving test, you should relax and enjoy the drive. I did it and passed the test on my first try.

Fantastic experience: I am thoroughly impressed with my whole experience. My 30 hours of online instruction was extremely user friendly. I had no issues what so ever. I was able to log on and work on sessions in accordance to my own schedule. I found the lessons to be very informative. My in car lessons were on an entirely different level. My instructor was absolutely fantastic. He was accommodating to my schedule and never made me feel nervous or anxious. He was always very engaging. Giving me pointers and tips to assist with improving my abilities. His instructions were always clear and to the point. I was never in a situation where he was unable to guide me. I highly will recommend them to anyone looking. I will definitely be sending my kids here.

Their in-class/e-learning program is filled with very informative videos and information that will help new drivers understand everything they need to know about driving. Their driving instructors are amazing too. I had Rafi as my driving instructor and he was very kindhearted and respectful, but also very knowledgeable and firm about driving, which in my opinion is the perfect mix for an instructor. This driving school is a must for new drivers!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this driving school to anybody that just got their g1. When I was doing my in car driving lessons I was taught by Rafi. He's very nice and will take time to teach you how to drive correctly if you did a mistake. Though, his teaching is very straight forward, he is always confident in your driving and lets you take your time to learn. Fantastic experience: Sabir sir who is a driving instructor in Standard Driving Academy school is a great teacher. He teaches you all the basics, techniquez and rules of Canada driving. Sometimes even uses pen and paper for pictorial representation for student's understanding. I highly recommend this instructor for all the new comers who look forward to getting G2 and G license.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Standard Academy of Driving to anyone. I had to get my G2 road test complete one day before it fully expired and I would have to start over. I had my in class about three years ago + my 10 hours but needed more practice. My instructor Tariq was great and taught me a lot in two hours before my G2 road test. The two hours was well worth it for all the knowledge and care he puts into making sure that you understand the reasons for driving safely when on your own and during the test. I was able to pass it on the first try and will definitely be back for more lessons around my G test time

Positive experience: I had a good experience with this school. My instructor, Rafi, was helpful in correcting things I wasn't good at and practicing them a lot. We didn't waste time on things I was already good at, and he was good to give quick feedback on mistakes so I wouldn't make them again. I passed my g2 exam on my first attempt!

Fantastic experience: Fully recommend this place to go if you want to improve the safety of your driving. Before doing the in person driving lessons, I knew how to drive but I wasn't fully aware of my surroundings whenever I drove. As a result, making me a pretty un-safe driver. However, when I first met Rafi (my driving instructor) on my first lesson, I knew straight away that I was going to be a better driver than before. My instructor Rafi was a brilliant, understanding and patient guy, who always taught me by the rules in a positive manner. In addition, he taught me how to completely and properly change up all my bad/unsafe driving habits such as (not fully stopping at stop sign, not often looking at the blind spots, etc..), which ultimately made me an excellent and a much safer driver by the end of the final lesson. To add on, Rafi is also an amazing and kind person to chat with - he gives advice to pretty much anything and will also find ways to resolve any issues that you might be dealing with. Overall, this place is a 5/5 and I'm proud to say that I also recently completed the G2 exam on my first attempt due to how prepared I was, and will 100% come back to work on my G test!

Fantastic experience: Today I finally passed my G2 test with Sabir Ahmed, my sister also passed with him on her first try before I did. Fantastic experience: I would recommend this school to anyone in the area! ​I was very nervous to start driving at first but I surprisingly gained confidence quickly because of my awesome instructor Tariq. He has a very calm and patient approach to teaching which made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. He provided a space where I felt comfortable asking any question or the same question many many times. His driving strategies are very effective and are definitely the reason I passed my G2 road test on the first try!! Thank you so much Tariq and Sabir for your support in me getting my license!! Fantastic experience: This is one of the best driving School in Durham Region. I was trained under Mr.Tariq whom I should say is the best driving instructor one can imagine . He is very patient and friendly and teach us with out any compulsion or pressure . Fantastic experience: My driving instructors were Mr. Rafi and Mr.Tariq, and they were both fantastic! Mr. Rafi and Mr.Tariq helped me so much during the time I had with them, and they were very supportive throughout. The lessons and tips they gave me helped me pass my exam and be a safer driver in general. Also, the online class I had to take during the course with Standard Driving Academy was extremely informative. I'm glad I took it, as it definitely helped me be more sure of myself when driving. Fantastic experience: Tariq is great at teaching! He was super helpful and kind. I have memory problems but he was very patient with me at repeating everything a lot. My test was fast approaching and I only had 2 weeks to prepare for it. I had previous driving experience from other country, so my biggest struggle was remembering canadian laws. He taught me to drive safely and I passed my G2 test today. I am so happy!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a good driving school, I highly recommend this one! I had Sabir uncle as my driving instructor for my G2 road test, and I thought his way of teaching was incredibly effective. Everything he taught was relevant to my road test and appeared during its duration. His lessons allowed me to feel comfortable and prepared for my G2, and I also want to note that I had absolutely NO driving experience prior to my lessons with him. In other words, he basically taught me from scratch. I passed my road test during first try, and it's all thanks to the easy to understand lessons I took, and how my nerves were constantly comforted during the actual day of the road test. Overall, I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Tariq helped me prepare for my G2 test. He was an amazing instructor overall. He is very calm and gave me clear directions and techniques to follow. I spent about 12 hours total with him and he got me totally ready for the test. I passed my test on my first try and it was because of Tariq. He made me feel comfortable as a new driver and I will use him for my upcoming G test.

Fantastic experience: My amazing instructor, Tariq, was very helpful with preparing me for my G1 road exit test. He went above and beyond to not just make sure I passed my test, but to also make sure I'm confident in driving. I was able to get my G2 my first attempt after just one month of driving lessons with him. I highly recommend.
