If I didn’t have Basil as a driving instructor I don’t know If would be here today with my g2 since he has guided me in the right path and taught me step by step driving rules. People I know failed to passed their driving test since their instructor did not teach them like how basil taught me and I am grateful that I had someone like them to teach me. Thank you Basil!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by friends who had their kids attend Western Driving Academy. Both my kids attended and had the same in car driver. Ted has been amazing preparing them to be great new drivers. He's knowledgeable and flexible.

Fantastic experience: My daughter 17 was paired up with Kim as her driving instructor . We are just amazed with how knowledgeable, detail oriented, patient, kind and grateful for her outstanding communication skills. Kim was very thorough with explaining road safety and offered strategies in defensive driving. Kim was able to calm my daughters nerves and give her the confidence needed to take on this new chapter in her life. I would 100% recommend Kim as a driving instructor and applaud her for all her hard work and I thank her for going above and beyond. My daughter feels proud of how far she has come as a new driver!

Fantastic experience: Usman Hayee was my instructor for a total 10 hours, who helped me pass my G2 test first try. He is very patient, kind, and extremely helpful. He is clearly a very intelligent person, very organized. Really down to earth, and chill in general. Anyone who has him as an instructor is very lucky. Usman deserves every dollar he makes at WDA, I say give that man a raise.

I passed the G2 test on the first try thanks to all of the tricks he taught me. Very patient with me and flexible with scheduling. Fantastic experience: Best driving school out there! Compared to my friend’s stories about their driving instructors, I never had close to as many problems with Western, I had none, in fact. My instructor, Basil, gave me numerous helpful tips which improved my driving almost instantly. He is very punctual, calm-mannered, and informative. I passed my G2 test flawlessly, something I would not be able to do without him! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I paid for a few lessons with Abdullah.F in preparation G2 Test and G2 Test itself. After not operating a road vehicle for some time, Abdullah was very patient with me and was an excellent driving instructor and teacher. He went above and beyond to ensure I was more than ready for the driving test, and re-enphasised the importance of Defensive Driving while he instructed. I would recommend Abdullah and Western Driving Academy to both older and newer driver's alike, including my own family.

Fantastic experience: I finished and passed my drivers ed all thanks to Abdullah! He was very efficient, and I managed to fit all 10 hours within a couple of weeks. He is a fantastic teacher, he was really patient. He also helped me understand a lot more, and taught me some easier techniques to when it comes to parking. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Western driving academy was very easy to work with us and offered affordable pricing. The customer service was great too as I broke my arm in the middle of my drivers-ed and had to postpone it for a year, however, customer service helped me feel understood as an instructor. Had a great experience with my instructor Abdullah. He was very flexible and able to work around my schedule and fit in all our lessons before our road test. He was very patient and taught me tricks that I’ll be using for the rest of my life when driving. He was also a great conversationalist which helped to put me at ease when driving on busy roads for the first time. He wasn’t afraid to put me outside my comfort zone but he always did say safely so that I could gain confidence on the road and practise all the skills necessary for my road test. Needless to say with his guidance I passed my road test easily.

Fantastic experience: Basil is an astounding teacher, he eased my nerves in driving and focused specifically on my needs by addressing my individual driving weaknesses. I was scared going into the lessons as I've heard horror stories from friends of mean instructors, Basil is the complete opposite, relaxed and easy going but is upfront and honest in how you need to improve. I 100% recommend him as an instructor he will make your life easier.

Fantastic experience: Abdullah is a fantastic instructor. He led me to nothing but success in my driving abilities, he taught me the basics on top of very factual and accurate information when it comes to being on busy and smaller roads. he helped me over my fear of roundabouts and busy roads like warnclife and commissioners. I thank him forever and i recommend him to anybody looking to partake in drivers ed!!

Negative experience: I paid for my fiancé to get drivers ed with western driving school and am very disappointed. Her instructor was awful and didn’t teach her anything. I took her out driving after and she barely knew the basics and almost got into a collision. I would try another school if you’re thinking of this one. Update: November 6, 2024 Almost a year later and no response from this school. They obviously don’t care

Fantastic experience: I just passed my G2 and it was all thanks to Basil. He truly helped me in areas where i needed to improve. He helped me know exactly what was going to be on the test. He got me super ready and prepared for this and helped me pass it on my first attempt. Would highly recommend him to anyone attempting to get their G2

He knows the routes really well and really makes sure that you are 100% prepared for the test. During our lessons he gave a lot of tips and tricks, which made me a much better and safer driver. A lot of material is taught during our lessons and he does so in a very clear, easy to understand way. Basil was always open to answering any questions I had (and I always had a lot) and was always super nice and accomodating! I would definitely recommend Basil if you are looking for a driving instructor who is super nice, really knows his stuff, and will do his best to make sure that you are on your way to passing your driving test!!
