Fantastic experience: Manpreet was absolutely incredible as an instructor. I was diagnosed with PTSD after being in a devastating accident that left me with a burst L1 vertabrae in my spine. I had sworn off driving for many years and let my license expire. When it became necessary for me to start driving again I had lost all confidence after 4 failed road tests. Manpreet was amazing at working with me even with all my anxiety and gave me the confidence I needed to pass. I'd say the fifth time was the charm but the truth is she gave me all the tools I needed to be successful. Fantastic experience: Gurb is the Best!!! My Daughter just successfully just passed her road test last Friday and the Lessons (and use of Gurb's vehicle) really paid off! Gurb's patience, excellent communication skills and understanding is exceptional as is his ability to simplify the lessons into easy to remember driving rules and practices were especially helpful (make it fun), His local street knowledge especially on the various driver's test routes in the city were so incredibly valuable! His unique methods include countless videos that he has pre recorded and shows as a new concept then applies them to driving with practice. He also teaches parallel parking using visual markers in order to nail it every time as well as many other small but unforgettable driving hacks. These insights really came in handy while highlighting any special areas of concern (where and what to watch for) as the roads and/or signs change, and sometimes without notice. The Bison Location area especially can be very difficult with all the schools and wide roads vs. narrow, and it is no coincidence as to why this Location also has the shortest road test wait times as the direct reflection of why not many pass on the 1st attempt. But Gurb knows what to do and it clearly works and very well! He has excellent communication skills and was always on time and very quick to respond which is always appreciated. My daughter was referred to Gurb & Proactive Driving Academy from a friend, who also raved about him as well, and so it only makes sense that we do so now here ourselves s well. I would Highly Recommend Gurb and Proactive Driving Academy to ALL who want to pass their Road Tests quickly and with a enthusiastic engaged fun instructor! Yes Gurb, You are the Best!! Negative experience: Friendly person, but that does not change the fact that for some lessons that i took with Gur, he was on his phone good part of the time when i was driving, answering phone calls and texting, not the service that i paid for, so i did not take more lessons with him, had to find another driving instructor and passed! Just put a bit more attention to the person next to you and avoid your phone when you are teaching somebody how to drive

Fantastic experience: I was learning my driving with Manpreet, she was very patient and understanding. I had driven before but for more than 10 years I have not been driving my car. So I was very nervous and scared to go back to driving. But Manpreet made me very comfortable and helped me with my driving and my driving skills.. Her way of explaining and helping you in every situation is just the best. She does not panick and it’s a peaceful lesson.. She gives you time and repeats every thing number of times without hesitation. She explains every situation and the do’s & font’s of driving. I feel happy that I learnt my driving with Manpreet.. Fantastic experience: Great service with the students in mind!… I’ve had my beginners for approximately seven years In that time I had been on and off driving with a very bad experience with MPI‘s driving school/drivers education through my high school I spent one lesson and within the first 10 to 15 minutes, My teacher was able to point out some of my technique flaws which was hindering my driving capability and preventing me from driving safely We went back to the drawing board and we made the necessary adjustments starting from my foot pivoting to my handover hand as well as learning some new techniques and tricks that definitely made driving much more easier even my hand position on the wheel! I was very discouraged after drivers education in high school and I never bothered to get my license after But after taking these lessons I definitely felt more confidence Would definitely recommend these guys and it’s a small business. They actually took the time to care for the students Spending extra time And even communicating after classes

Negative experience: Great instructor when he shows up (last year) but when he is trying to make plans bit suddenly ghosts from the text convo, (currently) less great. I guess great teaching skills doesn’t mean great reliability. All the best to the guy tho…he’s good at what he does when he wants to do it.

He has various techniques on how to be safe, how to prevent getting t-boned, being aware of your surroundings, etc. You will gain confidence because he tells you what to do and teaches you techniques on how to actually do it and provides opportunities to drill these techniques. To my knowledge, his wife also teaches if you prefer having a female instructor. If you are looking to learn, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I would say from personal experience ProActive driving Academy is the best in town. They make you a Pro Active driver just as the name suggests. When I started I lacked confidence, was scared of picking up speed and had the wrong driving techniques. The instructor analyzed my driving, identified the week points and helped me to develop new skills to make me a better driver. What I love about them is they do not only focus on you passing the exam, but they equip you with skills that are going to make you a better driver on your own immediately you pass your test. The instructor has recorded videos that I found very helpful as refreshers. Also, if you are scared about driving in the winter, give them a try. They have amazing techniques that will make you confident in no time. Right now I am a confident driver and fully equipped. I am glad I took lessons with ProActive driving Academy. Try them out and you will definitely get your money's worth.

Fantastic experience: Great instructor will teach you exactly what the examiners look for and what to avoid, aside from that he will teach you stuff that will help u alot with ur driving in the future not just the exam and he becomes more like friend than just an instructor so that will help with stress too
