Negative experience: Avoid, scam!!! They do not provide you with any books, they disregard your schedule, and the instructors for the theoretical courses are extremely rude. These people lack professionalism and give a deadline on your contract as soon as possible to ensure they get you to pay as much as possible with the SAAQ delays.. expect to pay at least an additional $300 to reactivate your file.

Negative experience: The school yard for maneuvering, especially in reserve, is not adequate, it is on dirt, has no pavement and the signage to learn how to back up is very poor, on the other hand the trucks are super old, do not work properly and have a lot of dirt inside. The people at the reception are not friendly at all. The schedules are changed without notice and sometimes you arrive at school and you don't have class because they changed the class without notice. The teachers are cool, especially Prof. Elba is the best trainer in the school.

Negative experience: It smells like a scam, never swipe your credit card in there, they're definitely going to rip you off! The reception is awful, the instructors are fed up, and the secretary barks at you. The boss is manipulative, and the trucks are garbage on wheels! The classes are cut short, full of pointless chatter, and forget about refunds! Appointments are not respected, and if you arrive 5 minutes late, you still pay 150 bucks, even without a class! In short... huge disappointment and a terrible experience. I got ripped off, but thanks to consumer protection for helping me!

Negative experience: Firstly, they are not certified; you should go with the CFTC or CFTR. The course is free, more intense, and has a better success rate. This school is a scam, and the teacher I had was very stressful, Christian. Don't go there and don't pay too quickly; it is a very poor company that is not capable of refunding.

Negative experience: Course name recognized for insurance, impossible to get insured after passing the course. Really disappointing to pay $3200 for nothing.

He gives great tips to pass the theoretical exam, if the student studies (and yes, you have to study, there's a lot of material) they will succeed like I did, on the first try! Thanks to Mathieu, Daniel, and Thierry, you are great practical teachers, very nice, with good tips, and they are not stressful, they want to help you! And a huge special thanks to Christian (new instructor and I had him more than the others), very friendly, funny, not stressful, and he encourages you, your experience helped me a lot. For scheduling my classes, it went well, thanks for listening to my request and for giving me 4-hour classes (I have 4 hours of driving to do), apart from a few cancellations (that can happen), it was fine, however, you can improve a bit the maintenance of your trucks!! On arriving for a class, the truck wouldn't start (the teacher eventually got it started... and the next day the same thing happened, it wouldn't start (the same truck) and the second one we tried didn't either.... But otherwise, I really liked it! Thank you! I got my class 1 FM license on the first try! Thanks to you!

Negative experience: Poorly organized, broken truck, class cancellations or schedule changes with less than 24 hours' notice, they gave me a manual car even though I had requested an automatic, it postponed my exam date; overall it took 10 months, very long and painful, I do not recommend it even if the price is good.

Negative experience: Forget this school, there is no professionalism. They just want your money. Trucks break down during practice or the instructor doesn't show up, making you lose hours of classes already paid for 4 months ago. If you have a problem, they don’t answer the phone. In short, avoid this school...

Negative experience: 1- The people at CFRM do not respect what they say during the registration for the training. For example, they say that you have to pay $300 at registration and then $100 for each class. They started charging $100 per class, and after the 3rd class, they sent me a message saying I had to make a payment of $500, and after the 5th theoretical class, they sent me another message asking to pay the balance because the contract is ending soon. They gave me a two-month contract while they know very well that I cannot finish the classes (theoretical + practical) during that time. They do it in a way to force you to pay all the money in full ($15 theoretical classes + 20h practical + car rental for the practical exam) without even having gone to take the theoretical exam at SAAQ. There are people who may not even pass the theoretical exam at SAAQ yet they are already forced to pay the school even for the car rental for the practical exam at SAAQ. 2- The customer service is terrible except for making a payment. There is a secretary who is very arrogant with clients when you call her to get service after waiting on hold; if the reason for the call is not to make a payment, she tells you to send an email and that they will take 2 to 4 days to respond. When you persist to talk to her because it is urgent, she yells at you. NB: I have nothing against the trainers; they have still done a good job. And I am not frustrated either because I did not pass my exam. I got my license. I strongly discourage anyone from attending this school otherwise you will experience hell with customer service. They are only interested in the money.

Negative experience: False representation. IMPOSSIBLE to find a job without a DEP or 2 years of experience. I will pursue both schools for false representation.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. I do not recommend doing business with this school CFRM: the first thing is that the secretary SYLVIE apparently does not like her job; I do not like her attitude. The second thing is that if you have an appointment at 8:00, you start late, the trainer wants to go see the boss or go to the bathroom, smoke a cigarette, etc. and you always finish 15 minutes before the end of your training course. Moreover, I had an appointment at the SAAQ Salaberry de Valleyfield 45km from my home, I went there and then I wanted to register with them with the truck papers and the notice, I was not able because the trailer was blocked by the SAAQ due to a defect, and then another month of waiting to get my appointment. Fortunately, I passed my exam.

Negative experience: Teachers are amazing but the school isn’t organized. Trucks always have problems so you loose 30 minutes plus before you get on the road. They’re more concerned about enrolling students and getting payed than making sure they have enough space and resources . They book your classes as they wish without regards and good luck trying to talk to anyone over the phone unless you want to sign up with them. To ask questions or make changes they ask you to send them an email that they rarely or never reply. You have to chase them down to get an answer or get them to schedule your SAAQ appointment. Plus they cancel classes and don’t bother calling or letting you know so you find out after getting there. One of their employees even basically told me to F Off that he would cancel my file and i would loose everything i payed when i asked to change my 8am appointment because i already told them i couldn’t. I have a child to drop off at school and they decided to schedule a 8am class at 3:30pm the previous day. They have no regards for their students nor their teachers. Very unprofessional way of doing business.

Negative experience: They don't even answer the phone anymore wow!!! Very surprised, this must be what it means to be close to your clientele. In any case. I wasn't ready, I asked them to postpone the S.A.A.Q. appointment, but for them it was too late even beyond 36 hours notice. If you want to be treated like a number, a client no more and no less, go ahead.

Negative experience: BEWARE They will take deposit and not give a date to Start. So I immediately told to cancel the contract. This was in 2022 March. Since today they have not refunded the deposit. They say that they mailed the cheque but you never receive them. When you go in person they say that no one is available now to speak about it and just to email. The emails never get replied. People don't waste your time in dump like this when you have so many better trucking schools out there

Negative experience: Ne jamais aller à cette place beaucoup de pression pour payer avant d avoir les cours les truck son en très mauvaise état et demande un dépôt de 300$ par téléphone pour l inscription se qui est illégal après 100$chaque cours… après 3 cours il vous demande une autre paiement de 300$ d avance je me suis fait viré de la class et banni du cfrm parce que il avait pas reçu mon virement en 15 minutes

Fantastic experience: très bonne école pour apprendre la partie théorique et pratique du camionnage. Les instructeurs sont très professionels et ils expliquent tout de A à Z.Ils font tout le possible pour que t'obtiens ton permis, mais c'est à toi aussi de mettre de l'effort pour apprendre. Aujourd'hui j'ai obtenu mon permis de classe 1 du premier coup et je suis reconnaissant pour leurs aide. Merci à CFRM et tout son équipe.

Negative experience: The worst service ever they never answer the phone the line cuts after a long wait (2 hours)!!!! They take over a week to respond via email if they respond.you will find them nice in the beginning before you pay and sign the contract. After that, they refuse even to speak with you. They will tell you the person that takes care of your problem is working from home and I can't help you.So you have to send an email and of course nobody answers to summarize it's a big scam be careful!!!

Negative experience: C vraiment des voleurs! Il faut se méfier, ils m’ont volé 950$ ! Je vous conseille d’éviter ce centre de formation

Negative experience: Très mauvaise experience, je déconseille fortement !!! Pour la partie pratique qui aurait du prendre maximum 2 mois, je leur cours après depuis 5 mois, et finalement on m’a dit que je n’avais pas le choix d’attendre encore 3 mois pour passer l’examen. On m’explique donc que je n’ai aucune solution a part d’avoir un gap de 5 mois entre mes cours et mon examens, alors que j’aurais oublié tout ce que j’ai appris, alors que c’est eux qui n’ont pas pris le rendez-vous pour l’examen chez la SAAQ, ce qui aurait du être fait 5 mois auparavant. Evidemment c’est bénéfique pour eux, car en cas d’échec de mon côté, je me retrouve a être obligé de payer des cours supplémentaires, et a relouer le camions de chez eux pour l’examen. De plus, ils évitent tes appels, et leurs responsable ne répond meme pas a tes courriels lorsque tu demande un suivi concernant ton dossier. Quand finalement tu as une réponse, on te dis que tu raconte de fausses histories, leur responsable manque de professionalism et prend les clients de haut. Il a finalement fermé mon dossier sans mon accord, alors que le total de ma formation a été payé, et il a tenté de me faire signer une demande de résiliation incluant des frais de résiliations !!!! Je vais de mon côté faire une plainte auprès de l’office de protection des consommateurs, et je ne suis clairement pas la seule, il y en a eu d’autres avant moi. Les mise en demeure et amandes son publique sur le site de l’office de protection des consommateur, n’hésitez pas a y jeter un coup d’œil avant de vous inscrire a cette école. Bref a éviter absolument, il y a d’autres écoles bien plus professionnelles

Fantastic experience: Tres bon cour et tres bien expliqué en ligne pour la théorie avec Alain Larochelle. Excellent instructeur pour donner des conseils et apprendre sur la route avec Olivier, Daniel, Daniel Auger et Donald. J’ai réussi du 1er coup avec leur excellents conseils! Tout le monde sont tres gentils labas! Ainsi que les secrétaires qui s’adaptent a nos horaires ! Merci a toute l’équipe! Negative experience: Évitez cette école à tout prix. Les camions de pratique sont dans un état lamentable (Check engine allumé, amortisseurs défoncés, la neige qui entre dans la cabine, etc, etc...) Vous n'aurez jamais le même professeur 2 fois, en plus qu'ils sont eux-mêmes dégouttés de leur environnement de travail, et ils nous le font savoir. Cette école m'a tellement écœuré, je suis tellement déçu de mon expérience.

Fantastic experience: Alors j'ai regardé les reviews comme vous le faite maintenant vous aussi avant de commencer mon cours de Classe 1 et j'étais un peu hésité, par contre une fois commencé j'ai changé d'avis sur cette école que je recommend fortement maintenant si vous n'avez pas beaucoup de temps pour aller le faire au près du Cftr avec la liste d'attente et 6 mois presque de formation. J'ai passé la majorité de mes cours avec PATRICK que je salue, une personne très expérimenté avec grand sens d'humour. Il m'a bien aidé a avancer rapidement dans mon cours pratique, le temps passe très rapidement avec lui . Le reste des cours était avec OLIVIER une autre personne magnifique je le salue aussi d'ailleurs c'est lui qui m'a accompagné lors de mon examen pratique à Saint-Jérôme la où je l'ai obtenu dès la première fois avec une excellente note d'après l'évaluateur de la SAAQ. Negative experience: Tres mauvaise experience ! Surtout ne pas vous inscrire et payer le montant complet si vous nete pas sur de pouvoir finir le cours en entier et etre sur detre sur de ne pas prendre plus de 1 mois pour reussir votre examen theorique a la saaq car apres ca il est trop tard pas de remboursement et si tu veux continuer le cours tu dois payer encore le montant du cours en entier (une 2e fois) moi jai fais juste les cours theorique par zoom ... jai reussis lexamen mention f mais jamais reussis le 2e test theorique... alors ils mont donmer acces a un examen fictif pour me pratiquer mais moi etant pere de 3 enfants a temp plein je nai pas eu le temp de passer lexamen theorique selon leur exigence de temp queux determine que t capable de fair .... resultat reve brissé !!! Je ne conseil a personme cette ecole .

Fantastic experience: Superbe expérience avec cette école. L'enseignant qui donne les cours théoriques est juste parfait. C'est impossible de rater la théorie en suivant ses conseils. Pour ce qui est de la pratique ils ont tous leur qualités et leur defaults mais ils m'ont tous été très sympathiques et l'ensemble de leurs enseignements m'a permis d'obtenir mon permis classe 1 F,M du premier coup. Mention spéciale pour Patrick qui s'est investi bien plus que la normal dans ma réussite.

Positive experience: Bon tout d'abord, je recommande fortement cet établissement de formation. Le formateur théorique est ça coche et attentionné. Les formateurs pratique Daniel, Olivier, Patrick et Jessica sont les meilleurs ever! Ils sont tous honnêtes et répondent aux attentes. Par contre, le CFRM est dur à rejoindre par téléphone, seulement par courriel que c'est plus facile. Merci beaucoup

Fantastic experience: Well trained instructor and good service to students

Negative experience: My father did a certificate with them and wasn't satisfied with the practical training he got. The company markets the training as a 4 hours practical training, plus the whole training is from 8 am to 4 pm. For people without enough experience with the forklift, this certificate isn't enough. they will pass a whole group of 10 people within that time frame, leaving you with around 30 min of practical training. When my father called to complain about the lack of practice he got, they asked him to pay another 200$ without an explanation; in addition, the training ended on 2 pm and not the 4 pm marketed time. The theoretical training was good and my father benefited from it, but we advise to go with an other company to get more practical time for the money you're paying.

Positive experience: Did my class 1 and passed at the saaq on the first try. Elba and Oliver were amazing trainers that shared there tricks and knowledge to help me through I appreciated that.

Fantastic experience: Pour commencer je tiens à remercier du fonds du cœur tous le personnel du centre CFRM, je teins à les remercier pour leurs patience et leurs accueil et leurs temps qui ont consacré pour me donner des excellents cours soit en théorie comme en pratique se sont des vrais professionnels j'aime ça, je dirai que c'est la meilleure école de conduite. Positive experience: Bonne école! Prof théorique excellent et prof pratique M. Gordon aussi! Seul bémol le bloc de 8h est clairement insuffisant pour être confortable à l’examen. J’ai tout de même réussi!

Fantastic experience: Super école et super prof qui s'adapte bien au étudiant.. j'avais chercher mon classe 1 en 2016 automatique trop d'info pour moi a l'époque. La en 2022 j'ai été chercher mon manuel.. il faut pas se décourage avoir de la persévérance. Et depuis 2017 je suis ds le camionnage et je n'ai aucun regret ds le domaine du dompeur

Negative experience: je vous déconseille fortement cette école. surtout la succursale de Ste-Julie. ils n'arrivent pas à s'organiser correctement. les camions ne sont pas entretenus, les enseignants partent et en plus ils ne répondent pas aux courriel de façon assidue. malgré le fait que j'ai répondu dans les délais au courriel mentionnant que je ne pouvais pas être présent à l'examen, ils on fait déplacer un enseignant inutilement avec un camion jusqu'à la SAAQ et m'y ont inscrit. je doit donc payer la pénalité pour non-présence à la SAAQ. IL Y A DE MEILLEURE ÉCOLES DE CONDUITE. Ne vous faites pas prendre

Fantastic experience: J'ai passé mes cours pratique là, l'instructeur a rapidement su où diriger la formation par rapport à mes besoins pour bien réussir. J'ai passé l'examen de la SAAQ du premier coup. Gros merci à Olivier!

Fantastic experience: Un accueil chaleureux. Des explications simples et claires autant au niveau de la théorie que de la pratique. Seul un petit point négatif. La durée entre l'examen théorique et la pratique. Mais je mets quand-même 5 étoiles amplement méritées.

Negative experience: Honnêtement, déçu de la gestion pour 3 raisons. #1Jai été charger pour 2 cours théorique d’extra quand en réalité jai pris seulement un (le son du zoom a Cessé de fonctionner en milieu de cours sur mon ordinateur que j’ai acheté spécialement pour ça.) Même après avoir discuter avec le propriétaire de la compagnie de la situation (qui est une personne relativement arrogante si je peu me permettre) pour plaider ma cause , on ma répondu qu’ils avaient des preuves que j’en est pris 2 . #2 Il ya eu un changement a l’horaire de mon cours pratique , et seul un e-mail a été envoyé pour me l’informer . Un coup de téléphone ou un texto aurait été grandement apprécié…Le 3/4 des personnes s’absente du travail et planifie avec leur employeur leurs cours, au prix du gas quand on se déplace de la région de Granby à St-Julie pour se faire informé du changement d’horaire s’est un peu plate … le coup de téléphone ou texto automatisé aurais été vraiment appréciée. #3 le camion que jai louer pour mon examens est arrivé en retard, non seulement ça mais aussi un camion que je n’était pas familier avec, j’aurais apprécié voire le camion d’avance pour me situer dans la cabine . Et clairement se n’était pas la faute de la madame qui me la apporter… un aspect mécanique aurait du être réparé le jour d’avant et selon l’explication de l’employer s’est une autre employée qui n’a pas pris le temps de le faire … mon examen étais sous peu d’être annuler, tellement mon camion est arrivé en retard… j’aurais été curieux de voir si il m’aurait dédommagé de mon temps perdu au travail et mon gas… mon évaluateur ma fortement conseiller de me plaindre… Très mauvaise gestion … Sincèrement je ne recommanderais pas cette école a personnes, le traitement des clients/étudiants est mauvaise, les camions utilisés dans les cours pratiques son en mauvais état. Les professeurs théorique et pratique (St-Julie) son fabuleux a leur travail et vraiment excellent et clairement le seul aspect de positif de cette compagnie sinon mauvaise a mon humble opinion… Si pouvez vous permettre d’allez ailleurs ,faite le. Fantastic experience: Belle experience, des profs courtois, sympathique et professionnel. Jamais ils ont refusés de répondre aux multiples interrogations évoqués. Des bons trucs, de bons conseils et tout s'est bien déroulé pour moi. Je recommande sans hésitation!

Positive experience: Formateurs compétents et patients (théorique et pratique). Avant de m’inscrire, lorsque j’ai appelé l’école pour leur demander quelle proportion de la flotte de camion au Québec était manuel, la dame m’a répondu environ 95%. J’ai donc pris le cours manuel, mais après 4 cours j’avais de la difficulté et on m’a dit que ça me prendrait quelques cours supplémentaires. C’est alors que j’ai appris de l’instructeur qu’environ la moitié de la flotte de camions au Québec était automatique et que je n’aurais pas de difficulté à me trouver un emploi avec un permis automatique. J’ai donc changé pour terminer mon cours en automatique. J’ai donc « perdu » 4 cours. L’information du départ aurait dû être plus juste. Par contre lorsque j’ai décidé de changer pour faire le reste de mon cours automatique, l’école a fait rapidement les changements à mon horaire. Bon service de ce côté. Le délai entre les cours pratiques et théoriques devrait être moins long (3 mois). Je suis maintenant titulaire de ma classe 1 (automatique)! Merci CFRM!

Positive experience: Edit: be warned. Companies want drivers but no one wants to hire rookies. Been a month now and still no work. (I have 87 applications made everywhere in QC. No experience = no job) kind of find it ironic they have driver shortage and yet wont hire drivers. Like saying you dont want ketchup in your burger and then cry there's no ketchup. Original: I did my courses at the st-julie location but came here for my last course the day of the exam.(pick up the semi and drive to valleyfield saaq) The instructor that was with me was great just like the others ive had. I dont have much issues apart from a couple small hicks. 1) you're not placed with a specific instructor for your classes (practical part of it, not theory), you can get the same instructor for multiple classes and you can change every class.(I've had a total of 3, 4 if you count the one that went with me to the saaq). Instructors where great, 1 of them i especially learned quick with him. Doesn't mean the others where bad. They where still great. I just clicked with one of them better. 2) the trucks, that part annoyed me. I feel like i wasted half my classes trying different trucks and every time it felt like starting from day 1. They weren't the best trucks either. I switched from manual to auto because of that. On my last manual course i actually got the "good" truck, on that day i had no issues driving. It went extremely well. Their excuse, you're honna drive different trucks when working. I understand that but i also want to pass my exam. Learning on good trucks and staying on a good truck until the exam is much morw important in my opinion then being in a different truck every time and not all are good. I dont learn like that. Better to learn how to drive on a good truck and once i have my license then when i get a job I'll drive whatever. Getting the basis down properly will make it better overall and you can drive anything later. Nonetheless, i switched to auto, finally was able to move on and learn the pti and driving etc... instead of trying to learn a new truck. I will do my manual test after driving for a few months. Overall,good instructors, trucks are meh. 1 is good, 1 is ok, the rest need to be retired. I however wouldn't discourage anyone from taking classes. The instructors make up for it and teach you well.

Fantastic experience: L'école à Laval est bien, mais le formateur est mieu! Si vous avez le privilège d'avoir comme enseignant M. Patrick Gordon ce sera une réussite assuré. Professionnel, dévoué et intéressant, M. Gordon vous prendra sous son aile et fera de vous un élève prêt et préparé pour le jour J de la saaq.
