Negative experience: We did not have a good experience with this company. The communication between colleagues is non existent, they did try and help but often we were getting different communications from different staff. It was clear that they were not communicating with each other. They told my daughter things that were incorrect. For example, they told her you don’t have to signal to do a parallel park and often weren’t clear with what they wanted my daughter to do when she drove. I appreciate them trying to accommodate her when they could I just don’t think it was a positive experience for my daughter or my family. I don’t feel like I got value for the money.

Fantastic experience: Victor was amazing with my daughter who was very scared to drive. He was kind and patient with her and that made all the difference for her. She was ready to take the test and passed on her first try.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend doing your drivers training with Victor! classes were very smooth sailing. although scheduling was a bit hard due to my work schedule we made due. passed my test first try!

Negative experience: Avoid this school. They withhold their completion certificate so reduction in insurance is not actually included in the package you purchase. They then try to take advantage of newcomers by stating they need to pay cash for additional hours. Go with another school that will stand behind their pledge to train you properly

Negative experience: We had 2 children go through teen plus driving school at the same time. They each had 2 different drivers, yet the issues we had were similar. Know that instructors use their own personal vehicles, not vehicles associated with the school. This means one kid drove a sedan and the other drove a minivan; both were obviously family used vehicles. There was no regular scheduling of driving sessions. Sometimes they were once a week, sometimes twice, rarely on the same day and seems to work around the instructor's schedule more than the teen's. Sessions seem to be booked on the fly 1-2 days in advance and our teens were consistently left wondering when their next drive would be as neither instructor booked the next session at the end of the previous drive. The teen always had to reach out by text to ask when they could drive again. The sedan instructor at one point had to take his vehicle in for servicing, which completely stopped all instruction for 2 weeks as there is no backup vehicle for him to use. Both educators cancelled drives due to family issues, and neither contacted our teens to rebook the missed sessions. Today I just found out that our one child's instructor booked his next drive during school hours, so he has to miss his Chemistry class. She is not able to rebook it for after school hours as she has school aged children. She insists he has to drive during this time to make his driving exam in a week... which she has also booked during school hours, so he will miss another class then. We also paid for a rental vehicle from Teen Plus for the driving test. What this actually means is that he is using her van for the test, therefore must work around her schedule. He is in grade 12 and has diploma exams less than a month away, and he's missing classes because she will not work around his school schedule. Finally, both of our kids instructors habitually took personal phone calls during drives, on speaker phone, so our teens were party to every conversation and distracted the instructor from the job at hand. Made for an uncomfortable situation, especially when one the the instructors had a family argument during the drive. While I am sure the class instruction was up to par and the advice they got on parallel parking was spot on, I just cannot overlook all of the scheduling issues. To know that between the 2 kids we have paid over $2000 for driving instruction like this... is disappointing to say the least. Icing on the cake - the first child after completion at Teen Plus with glowing reviews from his instructor, has already failed 2 driving exams. Do not recommend. Based on other reviews here, kinda wish our kids were taught by Victor... he sounds amazing.

Negative experience: I wish to inform you then this “instructor” was attempting to parallel park right at the front of the school and it took him 3 attempts. You may want to re-evaluate this persons ability or credentials as a driving instructor. He actually made contact and went over the curb with his rear wheel on these 3 occasions. Not impressed and concerned over any new drivers contemplanting using this company. And… FYI. There was only ONE occupant in the vehicle so NO student on board. The instructor is unqualified or incompetent.

Fantastic experience: Our son thoroughly enjoyed his driver training experience with Victor. You can tell Victor enjoys working with youth as he is very kind, patient and accommodating. Highly recommend.

He built on her driving strengths and worked patiently on areas that needed improvement. He definitely has a system that we had to trust in and listen to. The modules online had entertaining and educational videos, along with in-depth discussion about the rules and regulations of the road. My driving instructor was sure to fix bad habits, create new, good ones while still making the experience enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Teen Plus Driving School! We were directed to Teen Plus on the recommendation of friends and family members. Victor was patient, and able to teach my new driver the skills and confidence he needed to pass his road test on his first attempt! He walked us through the process; advised when he felt my son was "road test ready", ensured he was brushed up and prepared the day-of, and even had his lesson vehicle available for the test. My son attended the in-person classes prior to starting his driving lessons, and really enjoyed the two days; he retained the information taught and appreciated the personalized aspect, and ability to ask questions or clarify concepts. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Victor at Teen Plus driving school. It’s very evident that Victor has a lot of experience with new drivers (and their parents) and is a master at guiding people through the process. Our daughter very much enjoyed learning from him. She found Victor to be patient and kind, and was really good at explaining concepts to put into practice. I certainly could see the difference in her confidence and skill level after each 2hr lesson. I also appreciated Victor’s guidance in letting us let us know when our daughter was ready for the road test and then making sure they had a refresher lesson right before her test. Fantastic experience: If i could give this place a 10 I would, i moved here from BC and was procrastinating to get my license, I had no one to teach me and was discouraged by that. That’s when I came across teen plus, I had emailed them wanting to get some information after 10 minutes of emailing Victor had called me. They were super accommodating and let me pay in chunks with cash, and worked around my schedule for work. Shelly was my instructor, I was so nervous my first time but all we did was talk and talk and talk. She was very kind and slow with me. Of course I passed my road test with flying colours, this is the place i recommend to anyone with little to no experience. If you’re reading this and are in the same boat I was go with teen plus.

Fantastic experience: Victor was our driving instructor for our Daughter. We had a very poor experience with another driving school in Sherwood Park and were one lesson away from completion but were not willing to continue with them as we were completely unsatisfied. My wife reached out to them, had a conversation with Victor, and signed us up that day. Our Daughter went into this new school with the expectation of disappointment. After the first lesson she came home and told us how good the experience was and that she was looking forward to driving. Until that point she had mostly lost interest in driving due to how the previous instructor taught and made her feel. Today she went in for her class 5 drivers exam and passed on the first try! Fantastic experience: Victor has instructed two of our sons and a couple of their friends in the past 3 years. All of them passed their road tests on their first attempts, and are all much better drivers as a result of this training. They all really enjoyed Victor’s teaching approach and personality. The program is priced well and the results speak for themselves. The kids also really liked using your Tesla for the on road training. We strongly recommend Teen Plus and will be going to Victor again for our 3rd son in a year or so!

Fantastic experience: My son struggles with confidence following an accident in the summer of 2020. He was rear ended while finishing his last driving lesson with a different company. Thankfully, he was not injured in the accident, however, he has not been comfortable driving since. It was suggested to us by a friend to reach out to Teen Plus Driving School here in Sherwood Park. That is when we met Victor. He has helped my son regain his confidence and comfort driving. I could not be more pleased with his services. Fantastic experience: Our daughter had an excellent experience with Teen Plus Driving School . She was successful in obtaining her license with one road test . Victor , her driving instructor , came highly recommended from a friend . We were so impressed with his teaching strategy . He was able to increase our daughters skill level and confidence without overwhelming her. Fantastic experience: Victor was an amazing instructor and really prepared my daughter for her exam. Victor and his school was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. Also, since we we unable to use our own vehicle (due to window tinting), for a nominal fee, we were able to use the instruction vehicle, which happens to be a Tesla. I highly recommend Victor and Teen Plus Driving school.

Negative experience: First I'll make it clear I have never used their service, but I saw one of their "instructors" texting and driving (while speeding) the other day going north on Hwy 21 to Fort Sask. Looked like a white Camry plate 00n131. Can't imagine someone who can't follow basic driving laws to know how to teach teens to drive. EDIT: The person driving was no mechanic, they were also nowhere near a shop so they would have definitely gone far out of their way for a test drive.

Fantastic experience: My son just passed his driver’s test on his first try thanks to Teen Plus Driving School! I trained with Teen Plus almost 20 years ago and they are STILL the best in the park in 2022. He has received quality instruction and so much encouragement. After a hiccup with one instructor and scheduling issues, Victor provided excellent customer service and was able to rectify the issue quickly and effectively. My son finished his last two lessons with Victor himself and I must say he is outstanding! I believe all the instructors are good at Teen Plus but Victor is exceptional. I highly recommend Teen Plus.

Fantastic experience: We used Teen Plus for our daughter's lessons. I only have positive things to say. First, my daughter was pretty excited by learning to drive in a Tesla. It made her excited for every lesson and feel a lot less self-conscious about learning to drive. Second, the instructor Victor was nothing short of fabulous. His calm demeanor and pleasant manner made it a low stress situation for her to learn. His methodology increased my daughter's confidence and abilities. Victor was flexible in his appointments and was able to get my daughter trained up in a hurry! He knows the testing procedures and he knows how to get the kids ready. He was confident that out daughter would pass her test and she did on the first attempt. Finally, you can rent the car that they learn in for their driving tests so the kids are comfortable and know the vehicle inside and out on test day. He took her for a quick lesson on test day and signed her in for her scheduled appointment. Use Teen Plus and ask for Victor - we will use them for our other daughter!

Fantastic experience: Our son had a very good experience with Teen Plus Driving school. It will probably be the only time he will get to drive a Tesla. The instructor, Victor, was kind and patient and provided a lot of important information in a digestible way. There was a lot of communications and flexibility with our schedules. Victor was good in responding to my son's and my texts. We actually decided to go with this company over ones in Edmonton and we were happy with them. Thank you for giving my son the skills and confidence in driving while being cautious and mindful of his surroundings. So glad he passed the drivers test today on his first try! Thank you so much! Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend Teen Plus. Both of my kids passed their driving test on their first try. Victor helped them prepare and did an excellent job. He was great with them both. We recommended Teen Plus and Victor to some of our friends and they also had the same great service and experience. A bonus was that the kids practiced in a Tesla!!!

While driving, he remains calm and provides constructive feedback as well as useful tips for safe driving. Victor truly was exceptional. He made my daughter feel comfortable as a previously inexperienced driver, and her confidence quickly grew with each lesson. I appreciated that he met her for a lesson before her driver's test, and he waited to see her results (of course she passed!). In speaking with Victor, I could see that he clearly cared about his clients, as was evidenced in the respectful manner that he treated my daughter. I whole heartedly recommend this company!

He was very accommodating with our busy schedule and was creative in finding times that would work for the lessons - even after I messed up booking online Victor accommodated very diligently. Victor saved a couple of the lesson hours for right before the drivers test as a chance to review everything needed for the test. Oh, and of course the most important thing - our son passed on the first try!

Fantastic experience: After being recommended by many of our friends who recently used Victor, we registered my son for drivers training.He made the whole process for us very easy and put our minds at ease. He not only taught driving skills, but more importantly he helped to build confidence in my son and his driving abilities. He was extremely flexible with our ever changing schedule and was very accommodating when we had to make changes. I highly recommend the package that gives you a lesson immediately before you do your road test and book their vehicle for the road test! The road test is stressful even for us seasoned drivers, and having this last minute refresher truly helped calm his nerves and helped him in being successful in passing his road test. My son is now a much better driver after completing the training with Victor. He loved driving the Tesla too and the personal touches Victor adds to each lesson! Worth every single penny !

Fantastic experience: My daughter was the most nervous driver ever and had taken lessons with another school and hated driving! After one hour with Victor he changed her whole outlook on driving and lessons. She became more and more eager for the lessons and offered to drive with us rather than being bribed to. I was so happy to have her take the test because not only did Victor assure me that she was a great driver, I could see it leading up to the test. Fantastic experience: Fives Star Service. Teen Plus Driving school is the BEST place by far in Sherwood Park to learn to drive. The instructor Victor is calm and patient and explains things very well. I was a very nervous driver to begin with but by the time I had finished the course, it felt like I have been driving for years. He has been in the driving industry for tons of years and was even an examiner for many years. He is super flexible with class scheduling and always had a time slot that suited my needs. He basically guarantees that the teaching he provides will enable you to pass first time (if you don't do something dumb on your exam) . If you want the cheapest, easiest, highest quality driving class, TEEN PLUS is for you.
