Fantastic experience: Good driving instructor, learned winter driving techniques with Faraz and was able to learn in a relaxed environment.

Fantastic experience: Mumtaz Quraishi is and will always be for me one of the best driving instructors ever. It was mainly because of him I got my license back in September of 2021. Before taking brush up lessons with this driving school I did drivers training with through AMA with Peyton Tonn and unfortunately AMA was not worth it. AMA to me makes you do so much unnecessary stuff that is not related to driving. When I transferred over to CDS and was being by Mumtaz I found nothing but pleasure with him. He tells you things simple and clear on how you do things and doesn’t give you a big explanation like I found with AMA. Mumtaz recommended I even take my road test in his car at the Riverbend registry because for years he has had an idea on what route usually they take people on for road tests. Literally we did most of our practices around there and when I did my road test majority of where we practiced was where I went for my test. If I could Mumtaz 10 stars here I would. But CDS I recommend highly over AMA. Thanks you CDS and thank you Mumtaz for everything!

Fantastic experience: My 16 yr old recently finished her sessions with Faraz and we are very happy with the level of service we received. He is thorough and covers all aspects of the driving exam with the student. I also found that from a parent aspect he helped answer all my questions and made it super easy to book the drivers exam. You can even use his vehicle for the exam which is great since the students are already familiar with it. Highly recommend Central Driving and Faraz in particular as an instructor.

Negative experience: I passed a Central driving school instructor on the Henday, the person driving was going 30km under the speed limit while on his phone. This person had zero awareness of the backlog of traffic behind them, while the two lanes beside them were flowing fine. Get your eyes on the road! There are too many people on the road with no clue what they are doing as it is. Kick rocks

In those 10 hours I was able to gain lots of very valuable experience, while also developing the confidence necessary to continue driving. He was very thorough in his teachings as well as reassuring!

Negative experience: First off I was hesitant to even leave a review because of the scope of the non professionalism in this drivers training program. I decided on this one cause of the reviews. 1# the instructor was on his phone for most of the sessions taking customer calls. Leaving my daughter nervous and panicked I should have pulled her the first incident but she wanted to finish it out. SHES NOT A QUITER! #2 I questioned him multiple times on how she’s doing he just kept saying she’s good just needs more practice. I payed for the road prep that comes along with the certification for insurance. After taking her out multiple times after she was and still is unaware and not confident with basic road knowledge. She just recently went to take her test and the driving instructor couldn’t believe she had taken a driving program. #3 He was always calling and changing the times of the training session sometimes texting a half hr before the shift to change the time of day he will be there sometimes 15 min early. Since she has a part time job this left over lapping. After hearing what the road test instructor had to say this left me with no choice but to leave my review as I had already had bad thoughts about the whole experience. I’m not here to bash the company but I do feel it’s fair I leave this review BECAUSE, she did not pass her drivers test. This is disheartening on both our parts considering the money I spent to get this training. And the excitement she had for completing a training program. The only reason I gave a 2 stars is because it was cheaper than any other program but now I’m seeing this experience is a reflection of that. Save your money and pay for reputable instructors. These reviews have got to be falsely generated. Or I don’t know why he felt the need to slack with my daughter.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with CDS! I took a 10hour driving lesson, and it exceeded my expectations. Mumtaz is not only extremely professional but also provides valuable tips that make you feel fully ready for the road test. His teaching style is encouraging and confidence building. A high five from me!

Fantastic experience: Honestly was very surprised by the service. My instructor was mumatz. When I was looking to pick a driving school we had heard ho hum review about other place and this was the only one where they said that liked them. I soon discovered why other like them. It is because they are willing to take you all over. One lesson were doing some residential another time we went downtown and onto Whyte Ave. I have never seen any other school take you over into those area. Honestly feel very prepared for driving and generally became a better driver because of them.

Fantastic experience: This School is really informative with its approach to teaching new drivers. Take example my Instructor, Sir Mumtaz. Not only he will breakdown and instill on you the type of skill about driving that you are struggling to learn, but he will also give you the freedom to experience driving as it should be, which is to be safe and to have fun. I particularly liked how he pushed me out of my comfort zone and give me confidence that I could do it. I never felt out of place and not heard on any lesson, all my questions are answered on point and with extra tips to really understand the concept of what you are learning at the time. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn how to drive.
