Young Star Driving School, at 8131 Yonge St, Thornhill, Markham, ON L3T 2C6, is an MTO-approved provider of the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course.
Our services include:
1. Individual Driver Training:Tailored lessons for new drivers and experienced drivers from other countries, preparing for G2 and G tests.
2. Certification:Upon completing in-class and in-car lessons, students are certified by the Ministry of Transport. This certificate can be used for insurance deductions and is redeemable at any Service Ontario office.
3. Flexible Scheduling:In-car sessions are available seven days a week. We also offer online courses and occasional weekday/weekend classes throughout the year.

Fantastic experience: Best experience ever with instructor Jaideep . I failed in first attempt but he teached me in just 2 hours and i today cleared my G2 test . Best feeling ever recieving licence and giving more information also.

Fantastic experience: Zameer was my driving instructor and he was really good! We began my driving lessons by getting familiar with the road since I had not driven much on my own, and slowly began learning the skills such as three point turn, parking, etc. He was really patient at the start, but definitely increased his standards and expectations for my skills as we progressed. Not always on time to my lessons, but that is because he truly does spend as long as possible in the car with you for each lesson. I felt well prepared for the G2 test and passed with flying colours!

Fantastic experience: Book with Zameer! I wish I could give him 10 stars but there is no option. Driving lessons are very clear and confident. Only a few lessons after, you will become confident. He doesn't waste time in lessons, I learn a lot every time. I failed so many mock tests until I could pass it, very honest guy who thinks of passing you over money. Explains very well. Just listen to him and you will pass. Even if you fail, you will 100% guarantee pass, just call him. He won’t let you book the test until you are 100% ready. He is unbelievable, best of the best. He is an expert to get early appointments, within 1 week. He is very early, shows up, excellent time management. My brother also passed with Zameer for the first time. I highly recommend to book a lesson with Zameer.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children took driving lessons at Young Star Thornhill location. Abid, the office contact person, is pleasant, accommodating to requests, and responds promptly. Zameer was my kids' driving instructor. He is patient and effective. Every time the kids had a lesson, their skills improved palpably. When I noticed issues that surfaced as I was out with the kids, one test to Zameer was all it took for him to modify his lesson and correct the kids' driving issue that I'd notice. I would highly recommend if you want your effective lessons so that your kids can be safe and responsible drivers.

Fantastic experience: Really impressed with the quality of teaching and service provided by this institution. Fantastic experience: Zameer was a great instructor during my time at Young Star Driving School. I had a positive referral from a friend, and I would also strongly reccomend Zameer. He would teach maneuvers and techniques in ways that were detailed, yet easy to grasp, and never made me feel overwhelmed. Fantastic experience: Zameer is a great instructor to be taught by! I have had no driving experience prior to attending Youngstar driving school. I was very nervous to be behind the wheels all the time. But with Zameer, I was able to become a safe confident driver. Parkings seems very confusing, but Zameer made them very easy. He gives thorough instructions and will never make you feel nervous on the road. I was able to pass the G2 exam in my first attempt! I have had a great experience at this school. For all new drivers, I highly recommend Zameer to be instructed by!

Fantastic experience: A close family friend recommended G Driving Test classes with Zameer, and I must say he is simply the best. Not only did I pass my G test in the first attempt, I also learnt a valuable lesson: "How to drive in Canada"? I am a newcomer with driving experience in India. But its different driving in Canada. He teaches you how to be a safe driver who follows all the road rules. This will ensure that you are safe, maintain a clean driving record and keep insurance rates under check. Zameer is also a very honest person. He asked me to first book the test and then take classes a week in advance. This not only kept me focused and sharp, it also saved me hundreds of dollars! During classes, he would arrive on time and take a mock test daily before the end of the session. If you pass his mock driving test, then you are surely going to pass the actual G2/G Test. On the day of the test, Zameer took me to the test centre 2 hours in advance and ensured that I was calm and relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend Zameer. Thanks Zameer ji for teaching me such a valuable skill!

Fantastic experience: Zameer is an amazing teacher with over 2 decades of experience I would 100% recommend. He taught me the best and easiest ways to reverse and parallel park. His teaching style always made me feel confident at the wheel. Zameer was always on time and he was flexible with pick up and drop off options. He took me through a practice test and showed me how to make zero mistakes. Even though my road test was late he was very patient and didn’t charge me extra for the delay. Fantastic experience: My instructor was zameer i was in a search for a good instructor from quite some time and tried a variety of driving schools as well but no one understood my driving capabilities and problems i was facing on road when i reached zameer through google search he explained me how is gonna move ahead with the lessons and what i need to do to improve on a daily basis. This man has a pure heart and will not charge a single penny more i have seen so many instructors trying to extract as much money as possible from you even if it means that you fail in your first attempt but zameer did opposite i was keen to take classes 2 weeks before as well but he told me that the best time to take classes is just a week before the test in regular intervals this man knows how to run business and knows what client satisfaction means. Also i passed my g test straight after g1 just because of this man he took me 2 hours before the scheduled time showed me the area and calmed me down because i was really anxious. Not to forget his perfection to details even if you do a minor mistake he will note it down and make you do again and again until you eliminate that mistake. Fantastic experience: I just got my G license and i was practicing with Zameer for this past month. He is truely the best instructor out there and helped me regardless of what the situation was he went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood and was aware of what had to be done. I had previously been with another instructor and Zameer had made me realize how much more knowledge he had that my previous one didn’t. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve failed my G for the 3rd time. Fantastic experience: Okay! I guess it’s safe to say that my instructor Reza is one of the best that’s out there. I attempted a full G after my G1, and I was able to clear it in my first attempt. Reza is very professional and pays attention to the minute of details. He made sure I was always comfortable and constantly gave me suggestions to improve my technique. Fantastic experience: Best driving instructor. My parents recommended Zamir. I only took 3 and a half hour worth of classes with him and he showed me everything and I passed first try. Very patience and caring. Wouldn’t have been able to do it with out his help. I recommend Zamir from Youngster driving to everyone who wants to learn how to drive properly quickly and efficiently and pass on the first try. Fantastic experience: I passed my first G2 attempt thanks to my instructor Reza. He explained all the correct techniques with details and he paid attention to the small mistakes to help me improve. Fantastic experience: Unbelievable experience with YoungStar Driving school!! I went to different schools and I keep failing the driving test. Finally I went to the Young Star Driving school and the instructor Zameer teach me in very short time everything I need to pass and I passed my G2 drive test and I did!! Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with Zameer. I was able to pass my g test on my first try. I was not driving actively before so i had a big anxiety with my test. Fantastic experience: I came from the Netherlands and I directly go for G exam, I took lessons with Zameer , he took me to Newmarket ( the exam place) and showed me roots and practiced very well. Beside from being knowledgeable instructor he is very patient and positive. I was very stressed since the driving system in Toronto is way different than Europe but he helped me to overcome my stress and built up confidence while being safe driver. Thank you very much Zameer

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my G2 driving test under the expert tutelage of Reza and my success is testimony to the high standards of Young Star Driving School. Words in no language could capture the gratitude I feel that Reza was my driving instructor. Before my lessons with Reza began, it had been approx 5 years since I last tried driving and I was struggling with extreme anxiety, fear of driving and lack of confidence. From the onset, Reza made me comfortable enough to be open and honest about my struggles as I felt I needed to be, if I wanted to be successful. Soon after, he was able to deduce other fears without my having to say anything and he helped me to overcome and build my confidence. Reza was very patient with me and this was crucial to my success. Additionally, he was always professional and on time and created an environment conducive to learning. He communicated well and often, responding to questions and concerns as well as providing valuable feedback verbally and in writing after each lesson. Reza was open to ideas and respectful of thoughts and opinions. During the period, I was exposed to various teaching aids and multi sensory teaching which greatly benefited me. On one occasion, Reza even took me to examine the types of lines on the road and to explain the concepts and this did more for me than paper and ink did. Everyone has different learning styles and abilities and I believe Reza tailors his teaching methodologies and the techniques to suit the needs of his students, going above and beyond. He is also very thoughtful. Two days before my drive test, I felt overwhelmed at the prospect and became emotional. Reza got me something to drink and helped me to calm down, assuaging my fears and encouraging me. Today I passed and I feel confident about my driving and I am so happy. All anxieties and fears are put to rest. I can say so much more but to sum up, Reza is a skilled and knowledgeable instructor. He teaches concepts, techniques and skills including defensive driving which are invaluable for the test and beyond. Here is someone who truly cares about his students- wanting them to pass and to have a successful driving career. Reza believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and this mattered. Fantastic experience: Very well structured driving school. The online curriculum covers everything you could ever imagine to help prepare you for the road test. I had 10 Hours of practice with Tanveer and he was very informative and kind. The car they had me practice on and do the road test with was a brand new 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Plus, which was very helpful. I had always felt like I learned a lot after each lesson with Tanveer. He is a very smart instructor as I passed my G2 Road Test on my first try! Recommending this school to all of my friends. Fantastic experience: Passed my G2 test today …..if you looking forward to take g2 &G classes and extremely nervous, non - confident about your driving skills just ask for instructor REZA He knows really easy and good techniques for beginners. I had no driving experience but reza made me a professional & confident driver. I was rePeating same mistakes many times like i was having hard time keeping my speed and many more things but he fixed all of them very patiently. Also, reza gives all of his students extra time during classes he doesn’t even check his phone & time when he is teaching his students. He is not like those instructors from other schools who just think of making money from students. He will teach you all from his heart like he gonna put all the efforts to make you pass your test … i can tell you he will be more serious than you about your exam… lastly, i can say, you can never find a good instructor like REZA

Fantastic experience: My daughter B took driving lessons with Reza to prepare for her G test in Newmarket on March30/22. She was very pleased at how detailed and well organized he was . Fantastic experience: I passed my G2 test in the first try with Zameer! I went to another school and had a very bad experience and I was not taught in a very detailed manner, only briefly. My sister went to Young Star Driving School and she advised me that it’s better to go to Young Star with Zameer. Then, I practiced with Zameer and he tried very hard to make sure I was prepared. He showed me everything and gave me all the detailed tips and I went for the test and passed!! I’m very happy and thankful to Zameer and Young Star Driving school. I will be coming back for my G test once again and recommend it to anyone. This guy is incredible!
