Fantastic experience: Sara and Eric just wildy exceeded my expectations, and my expectations were pretty high. Long story short, after a lot of research which all ended up pointing at them I showed up and said " I've been driving for 40 years, I'm about to take the (very complicated) Drivers Instructor Road Test, and you've got 2 hours to help me pass. Oh and btw i didn't even take the course yet, i'm going to do that after". Pretty much the hardest ask you could give a driving instructor , really. A new driver is a blank canvas but an old one is a nightmare of ingrained bad habits. I knew this myself, that's why I hired them. They pulled it off with consummate skill. Eric got me in the car, within moments had me intently focused on the immediate goal (pass the test) and then proceeded to clearly demonstrate the forms functions and procedures that were going to be necessary to do just that. It was extremely informative and helpful session and on top of that he was a very nice person, easy to chat with while at the same time being all business in terms of producing the goods and getting the information across. It was just excellent. The next day Sara the Magician took over and immediately began deconstructing and then rebuilding my numerous non textbook habits ( for example at one point somehow i had my elbow out the window :) kids, don't do that.). It was almost spooky though, she could tell just from my body posture or what way i was leaning my head what mistake i was about to make versus the textbook, and why, and what to do to fix it. She was really spinning plates because there was a lot of work to do and not much time to do it. It was nothing short of incredible. She very quickly and efficiently remodeled me into someone who actually stood a chance to pass that test, all in a folksy way that made you somehow really want to really try as hard as you could to be better and to do things the right way, because the right way is the safe way. And, i did pass. I passed pretty easily really, and while i did I counted in my head at least 8 specific instances where i would have failed on the spot if it hadn't been for them and what they taught me so well and so quickly. There may well have been even more, and the couple of small things i did get wrong were things that they had actually warned me about. Anyway this is getting a bit long but the bottom line is, these guys are Pro's Pro's . If you hire them you are getting excellence and you would be very hard put to find a better blend of quality price and performance anywhere imo. They've got mad skills at the job there's no denying it.

Fantastic experience: Shoba is a highly experienced driving instructor. I started driving with her with no experience at all. I took long breaks between sessions and also went to vacation and yet she still helped me pass my exam. It was all because of her teachings.

Fantastic experience: My first experience driving was with Aamco Driving School. I completed only 8hrs of driving with Shoba and passed my G2 on my first try! 10/10 recommend this company, specifically Shoba, if you are looking for a good driving instructors.

Fantastic experience: I am specially reviewing this for Sara as she has been a really patient and a considerate driving instructor. She gave me the confidence to pass my G2 and G exams in the first attempt. The best thing about her is that she is very upfront with regard to feedback, and that's what really helped me to constantly learn from my mistakes without stressing out and just nailing it in the exam. Kudos to Sara's commitment toward helping budding drivers become good to great drivers who really understand the ins and outs of driving, and don't just drive for the sake of it. Fantastic experience: Sara is my driving instructor for G2. She is very calm person and guides well about the rules and instructions will be very clear. The car for driving is new and in well condition. I recommend this driving instructor for whom wants to learn from a calm instructor. With her guidance I cleared my G2 drive test. And the cost for the in car lessons and car for drive test is reasonable compared to other schools. She is very punctual about class timings and gives feedback properly about the mistakes we do and how to correct them.

Positive experience: UPDATED While I appreciate and agree that we need patience with new drivers I disagree with the explanation about slowing down to make a left turn. They drove in that lane consistently for over 4 minutes… preparing for a left turn does not take even 2 minutes, especially if you are already in the correct lane. Extra stars for your reply. Driving 40km constantly in a 60km zone in the passing lane is totally NOT teaching good driving skills. Southbound on Kingston’s Rd in Scarborough there are 3 lanes; the left lane is a passing lane and for vehicles doing the speed limit. This lane is not supposed to be occupied by a driver doing 40km and causing traffic to build up or create and unsafe situation that has cars constantly having to change lanes and go around you. As a driving school you should be teaching your students this well-known fact! Multiple drivers were forced to pass on the right to get around an instructor today with a student, which again is not the way we do things here. We are supposed to pass on the left side but you can’t do that when your teachers have students driving for 5 minutes 20km below the speed limit in the passing lane. Please do better and discuss this with your instructors like the one today June 23, 2024.

Fantastic experience: Aamco Driving School is a great place for those who wants to get into driving and become a good driver. The staff there have knowledge on the rules of the road as well as great insight on the techniques of driving for every situation. My one on one driving instructor Shoba helped me to be a good driver and get my G license. While having my lessons I was able learn so much from her learning the fundamentals of operating a car and the many techniques that are essential while driving everyday on the road. In the time I spent with her, she taught to drive with confidence making sure I drive a car making smooth lane transitions, turns and stops. If there was a time I had questions concerning an aspect of driving or situation ,she provide me great advice to overcome that challenge or aspect. If there was input I needed on my progress she would give me feed back letting me know where I was doing well and where I can improve. The great thing I got from my time with the Aamco one on one lessons was positive encouragement /motivation to continue driving and persevere at it. This is the one defining trait that makes the staff at AAMCO Driving school great teachers. With all the time I spent with practicing with my instructor and the encouragement I got during the lessons, I was able to pass my road test and get my G license. So overall, for anyone who wants to develop as a driver so they can successfully get their full Driver's License, AAMCO is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass the G2 test for the first time today, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Shoba. I had a lot of trouble with other instructors in different driving schools, which made me nervous about driving. However, thanks to Shoba being patient, knowledgeable, and kind, I became a lot more confident in my driving. If you have any questions, regardless of how silly it might seem, Shoba will answer it and tell you everything you need to know. She gives great tips that make driving so much easier, and does a great job at improving parts you struggle with. Fantastic experience: I feel Happy and blessed by taking the Driving licence classes by Aamco Driving School. Madam Maryam is very Nice, Soft spoken, intelligent person. She put all her efforts to make her students a best Driver, she thoroughly explains the concepts even uses Notebook and Pen along with personally practicing to make her students' understand everything. From Roots to shoots (Bonnet to Bumper) every angle of tires and steering wheel is explained to me by Maryam. I got passed my G2 and now will continue my training for Full G Licence from Madam Maryam. Wonderful Experience with Aamco . Will recommend everyone to Aamco.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a driving school to learn driving from its basics to just needing a few lessons to boost your driving confidence, I highly recommend Aamco Driving School. I can comfortably say that the school provides their students with quality lessons, which not only teach safe driving practices but also properly prepare you for your upcoming G2 or G test. I have had two great driving school experiences with Aamco Driving School, which involved passing my G2 and full G licensing tests on the first attempt each! Before my G2 test, I was paired with Shoba for a few lessons to improve my driving on local roads and parking skills. Shoba was amazing at communicating with me during and out of my driving lessons and allowed me to feel confident before my test. Although taking my G2 test during a snowstorm, I felt more than confident to pass the test. For my full G test, I was paired with Sara for seven lessons to learn highway driving. Having no prior experience driving on highways I was initially worried of my ability, however, on the first day driving with Sara, she made me feel more relaxed and taught me safe driving practices. Sara was also great with communicating with me and was reliable when pointing out my mistakes when driving, which really helped to prepare myself for the G test. I can tell that Aamco Driving School prides itself on its quality instructors, as my experiences with them taught me everything I needed to know for my G2 and G tests. Again, highly recommend this school!

Fantastic experience: Got my G license through Sarah, nice lady and taught me well. I did the test first time by myself with my own car and failed, the second time I got two lessons and rented the car from the school and passed. I am an experienced driver, had over 2 years of driving on the highway across provinces before so there was no issue with driving, it was just that I didn’t know what to expect during the test so that caused me to fail the first time, but through the lessons Sara went over all the details that they check and drilled it into me so I was able to do well on it the second time around.

Fantastic experience: I chose Aamco Driving School because some of my friends had been and had great experiences. My instructor was Gary Basu. BEST EVER! I took all my lessons from only him and did the G2 and G test and passed with confidence. When I started I was terrible and had no idea how to drive period. Gary Basu is very kind, professional and has over 30 years of experience. After training with Gary I am so confident in driving and it is a skill I will have for life. Only choose and request Gary, he was so patient and knowledgeable. He shared all his advice and made sure that I was very well prepared for my road tests. He always shows up on time and does his best to give as much feedback as possible. I've had other friends go to other driving schools but did not have a great experience as the one you will have with Aamco. Thank you so much Gary! All the best for the future! So we search Sara from Google, she is from aamco driving school. She teached my son so professionally and my son became more confident and today he passed the driving test. Fantastic experience: Worth the money you spend passed my G2 exam on the first try with just 10 hours of driving practice with Shobha with no prior driving experience and no car to even practice besides Shobha’s car. Shobha was helpful and patient and also helped a lot on the day of my g2 exam.

Fantastic experience: Sara at Aamco Driving School took me from beginner to passing my G2 test on the first try in less than 20 hours. I will never forget my first lesson. Sara took me out on the main road and I drove! I thought we would be practicing in the parking lot. She took all the fear out of me in day 1 and patiently coached me until I was driving without any need for her to remind me to brake, indicate or straighten my wheel. Fantastic experience: My experience with Aamco Driving School was about 13 years ago. We didn’t have Google Reviews then, hence my review now. I only have great things to say about Sara and Aamco. Originally I went to a different driving school and had a terrible experience with them. With the other school I had very low confidence in driving and was afraid I would never pass. My Mom was getting back behind the wheel after many years of not driving, as my Dad was ill and actually called Sara. With her positive experience with Sara I called her. Sara was accommodating of my needs and my schedule. She was very patient and very understanding. She gave me a great deal so I could save money too on the G2 road test. Previously, I failed twice, but with Sara I passed the first time. Sara brought my confidence back, so much so that I called her for my G test too. Again, Sara was wonderful in helping me with a deal financially. Her daughter Rita had taken me for my test since she wasn’t able to and I felt so comfortable and confident with both women. Sara makes you feel comfortable with driving in neighborhoods, school zones and parking both forward and reverse. She makes you feel good about parallel parking and three-point turns. Thank you Sara and Rita for a fantastic experience in learning to drive. Anyone they chooses Aamco won’t be disappointed. There is a reason they’ve been in business for over 40 years.

Fantastic experience: I would love to give 10 more stars, but unfortunately there’s only 5! I have got the best driving instructor Samia, She is the best teacher! I have had few bad experiences with different driving schools, ended up with lowered confidence level, and even had a question in my mind, can I do it? But I am so pleased and happy that I got Samia, she changed my life on the very first day. Which gave me confidence and the belief that I can do it, and I passed my G2. Fantastic experience: First of all this is one of the best and affordable driving schools I enrolled in. They have both male and female instructors available upon request! For this experience I requested a female instructor, name Samia. She is absolutely an amazing and informative instructor I have ever had. I am happy that she has taught me to drive for the very first time. I definitely recommend requesting her as an instructor for her effective teaching skills! Without her and the driving school, I would not have been able to pass my road test!

Fantastic experience: I am very happy to opt for AAMCO driving school for my driving classes as it has been a wonderful experience. My instructor SAMIA is well experienced and trained me to drive with confidence as I am a first time driver. She patiently explained me every detail and the driving rules. Negative experience: Had my driving lesson with Aamco years back. I remember Sara the instructor wasn't attentive to me as she was always on her phone entertaining messages and calls. I was a first-time driver in Canada but she obviously was not interested in giving proper guidance and explanation. I moved to NAB and the teaching service was awesome, approachable, clear, and properly explained.
