Negative experience: I find the disorganization and lack of professionalism of this driving school to be troubling. Despite agreeing upon specific lesson times, I am repeatedly overwhelmed with messages asking to confirm these appointments at highly inappropriate hours, like the night before the lesson, after finalizing arrangements numerous times beforehand. Another consistent problem has been instructors changing agreed-upon appointment times at the last minute, without any apology or regard for my schedule. This indicates a clear disrespect for my time and personal commitments. Additionally, the texts I receive from instructors are often incoherent and hard to understand, making communication even more frustrating. During lessons, instructors engage in unrelated conversation or have stopped for personal errands, such as picking up breakfast, taking away from the instructional time I am paying for and violating regulatory standards. Given the considerable investment of both time and financial resources, I find these issues to be entirely unacceptable. I am perplexed by the numerous positive reviews of this driving school, as my personal experiences have been significantly less favourable.

Fantastic experience: I passed my G test with nearly perfect score. I started from zero level and with 12 driving classes from Road Star I achieved my test. I would like to thank my instructor Wasim for it. He was friendly, gave me a tips, insured the mistakes I made was not being repeated again. One of the key advice from him was Do not rush, and have patience. Thank you.

Negative experience: The driving instructor forced me to take a video of myself congratulating him and recommending him after my test. It’s very clear In the video I did not want to and now I genuinely can’t even enjoy passing my test. I have severe anxiety and these types of things are a trigger for me. Also the drivers instructing were unclear throughout our lessons and the instructor showed little patience for my mistakes. It was a terrible humiliating experience and I dreaded every single lesson.

He corrected me gently when I made repetitive mistakes and provided as many classes as I needed until I felt confident. He helped me break my old bad driving habits. Fantastic experience: Newcomer in Barrie, I booked my G test and started looking for an instructor. I chose Road Star after some advices and I started having my lessons with an instructor. But because he was unavailable for one class, I had the chance to work with Mr Swaleh Baig. After the first class with him, I immediately told the school that I wanted to continue with him. He's just wonderful: patient, kind, very good at his work and he speaks slowly and clearly (I'm a French speaker). We had just 4 lessons and I passed my test. Choosing road star to prepare for your test is the best decision but choosing Mr Baig is the wise one. I recommend him to you all.
