Fantastic experience: Instructor Sailesh is a great instructor, patient when teaching and makes sure that all key elements for driving are observed and practiced. He works with you to ensure that you understand what you need to do to drive safely. He also helped calm down the nerves when I was anxious about driving in certain situations or the test. It was a good and detailed learning experience with Sailesh and AMB Driving School.

Negative experience: Total scam and a huge waste of money! Instructor asked additional $160 for taking me to Oshawa to take my test, which was only a 20 min drive. And it was after I paid for the lesson and nobody mentioned that additional cost will be so much. The 3 hrs lesson and using instructor's car to take the test itself was only just over $300! During road test examiner warned me quite a few times about something the instructor never mentioned, such as I often got too close to the car in front of me and I tended to speed up too slowly. The instructor told me I was doing amazing and can easily pass. Guess what? I didn't! Mistakes I made during the test were never even mentioned! Then he asked additional $150 to take me to Port Union drive test to retake the test (it's a closer location and would cost nothing if I took my first test there). I also asked about Oshawa and he said $250. How come Oshawa was $160 more and is now only $100 more? It's like all the prices are made up by him and he charges whatever he likes! What, I don't have a car so I have to use your car and pay you whatever you say? I can't believe this driving school is so highly rated! It's the biggest BS I've ever been through! By the way the instructor speaks terrible English and he was never on time for lessons. I'll use another car to retake the test. Stay away from this driving school!

Fantastic experience: My experience with AMB driving went well, and I successfully passed my first G2 test. This was accomplished with my instructor, Advait, who, with his patience, professionalism, and simplicity, gave me the essential skills to pass. I definitely suggest him as a driver instructor and will continue to request his lessons for my companions. I am very grateful for his way of teaching and input on safely driving on the road. With him, your success is guaranteed.

Fantastic experience: I started driving school with AMB as soon as I got my G1 and the whole process was quick as they offered it online so it was pretty easy to fit it in my busy schedule. I was glad to have been assigned Mr. Sailesh as my instructor for the in-car lessons. He was brilliant and he got me to pass my G2 with flying colours. He didn’t just prepare me to pass the test but he also taught me to build good habits to become safe on the road. Though his instructions can be quite firm and strict at times, it’s only because he really cares and wants you to understand important principles when behind the wheel. I learned a lot and AMB is really lucky to have him - truly a fine instructor. Thank you Mr. Sailesh!

Fantastic experience: Hi this is Ash! :) I absolutely love my experience learning how to drive with Sailesh! He's very informative, friendly and has calmed my nerves about driving since I started off as a very anxious driver. Very patient too ! Always have had great conversations in the car with Sailesh. He stays calms but it is also very stern about defensive driving. I learned a lot of things that I had not encountered with past instructors (i.e. using the rearview to get the bigger picture). He’s very practical and detail orientated about driving including the mechanics of the steering wheel. To help me feel comfortable with driving, we drove through many busy intersections and areas with a lot stops signs. He's great at training the mind to be hyper aware when driving. He also showed me a few routes at the test centre. He also provided material on what the examiners look for in the road test. Sailesh is not one of those driving instructors who will simply take your money and only teach you only how to pass the road test. His goal is to help his students become defensive, safe, and rule abiding drivers. He truly cares about his students succeeding and their safety. I plan on taking more lessons with Sailesh once I pass my G1 road test especially during the winter season. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I would not recommend you go with Riffat from AMB driving school. My wife was a student recently and went for 10 hours of classes , but absolutely nothing useful for the driving test was taught. Riffat took her on 30- 40 km per hour residential areas all the time and did not teach any of the essentials required for driving safely. No left turn ,no lane change, no traffic light rules, no parallel parking etc was practised even once over 10 hours of classes. And at the end Riffat shameless asked us to pay for more classes. Stay away from Riffat and ask for a better instructor who actually teaches something

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with AMB driving school. The 4 day in-class component to complete the lecture part of the criteria was super convenient, as you can basically get straight to driving lessons after. For in-car lessons, my instructor Sailesh was incredibly helpful to give me confidence on the road. For the first few lessons, I was was definitely nervous, but he provided me clear instructions and teachings on how to drive and park. We practiced my difficulties over and over until I was fully confident in them. I never wanted to drive outside of lessons as I was too scared, but now I am jumping at the opportunity. Overall, this driving school has given me everything I need to be a successful, smart, and optimistic driver, and I would definitely recommend it. Update: I have passed the G2 driving test, and I finished it early. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a driving school in Scarborough then AMB is a good choice. The online classes are easy to follow and allow you to do them at your own pace, but do note that you’re limited to 5 hours per day. For the in-car lessons, Sailesh was a great instructor and helped calm my nerves and build my confidence as a beginner driver. He is patient and passionate about teaching defensive driving and aims to not only get his students ready for their tests but driving in everyday life. If you’re going with AMB Scarborough, I highly recommend asking for Sailesh.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time with AMB driving school. The in-class component taught by Peter was great, and provided great information and the fundamental rules of driving. He cracked lots of jokes and made the class fun, and not just a boring lecture. For the on-road component, my instructor Sailesh was very informative, teaching both the "textbook" rules of the road as well as practical ways to drive. He was kind and ensured i succeeded at the things i had trouble with at the start. He gave me confidence in my driving, and now I actually like driving whereas before i never wanted to get on the road. I highly recommend this driving school if you want to learn practical skills while driving, as well as build self confidence in your driving. Fantastic experience: For a new driver, equipping yourself with driving skills is very tough. An instructor must have years of experience to help new drivers develop these skills. And for a 40 year old like me, it is doubly tougher to learn. Sailesh, made everything easy! All his training is based on instinct and not on theory which I believe is how a new driver should learn. I am excited for my G license training and I will definitely get Sailesh again. He is highly recommended. Thank you AMB for assigning Sailesh to me.

Fantastic experience: I started driving with Ms. Riffat with no prior experience and she taught me how to safely drive on the road in preparation for the G2 exam. She was patient and gave me adequate time to feel comfortable and learn at a pace that would improve my driving skills. Before going into my lessons, I had zero knowledge on parking, I was very rusty and had no idea what to do, Advait thankfully taught me the most efficient methods to use in all parking areas as well as giving me proper tips & awareness for driving better on the road & intersections! Fantastic experience: Had a great session with AMB driving school. Amir Sayed Syed was my instructor and he went above and beyond in explaining techniques on how to improve driving skills. He was very patient and a good teacher. Would recommend this instructor!

Positive experience: I signed up for in car lessons and found it challenging to schedule my first lesson right off the bat. During my first lesson I was expecting to sit in the drivers seat right away but instead my instructor wanted to have a conversation and I felt there was a lot of talking in the car. However with each lesson, I got more comfortable and began to understand her teaching style. She gave me tips and tricks which I appreciated. My instructor was always punctual, calm, and patient with me. She listened to what I wanted to practice and was always asking me if I had any questions.

Fantastic experience: My experience with AMB driving school was extraordinary. I started off very anxious about driving not even knowing how to turn right properly to being able to parallel park! My driving teacher Sailesh was very patient with me as a beginner driver, and he never yelled or showed signs of agitation whenever I made errors. On my G2 test he ensured I practiced each skill over and over again, and he gave me the confidence to excel. During my test, a car crashed RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME as I was told to make a left turn Lol but my driving teacher helped me the obtain the skills of remaining calm under pressure

Fantastic experience: Sailesh is an amazing instructor! He is very knowledgeable and takes his time when teaching. He is very punctual when he schedules lessons. He genuinely wants his students to drive well. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who is either a novice or an experienced driver.
