Negative experience: From my personal experience I'd say only go here if you already know how to drive and just want to pass your test and get your license. I used to think driving schools are made to teach. My instructor had some sort of expectation that I knew everything already. Some people come to driving schools hoping to build confidence, don't break their spirits even more. There's a proper way to give feedback. Suggestions: vary practice routes. Maybe ask your students if there are particular routes they'd like to practice on

The instructor Mrs Hardeep was patient, professional, clear during the whole 10 hours. Instructions were clear. One is fully prepared to drive Alberta's roads after the in-car and in-class lessons. Fantastic experience: Gantosh was my instructor, he was excellent Lessons we great, on time and well communicated. Vehicle was in great condition and comfortable and safe to drive on icy roads. Negative experience: It was the worst driving school that I ever attended in my life. The instructor was out of control. She was shouting and screaming on me during my driving. She tried her best to put me down and lower my spirit for the test. I reached a point where I wanted to leave her in the middle of the street, but I was worried about the money that I had paid already and the time that I have wasted too. Your instructor needs to see a psychological doctor. Trust me, she has serious issues. I know you cover and protect each other, but I don't recommend anyone to register at this school unless he or she knows the instructor personally. There are excellent schools and very respected instructors in Edmonton like Archer's Blue Car Driving school, this school is the best. Owner of the ons school, contact me to give you some ideas on how to run your business and maintain it for the long term and don't depend on one community, it's globalization now, let's wake up and have excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my driving lesson with Hardeep and I learned a lot from her! She was very patient and supportive of me all the entire five driving lessons. It was an absolute amazing experience driving and learning with Hardeep. She is incredibly knowledgeable on what she does. I highly recommend her and the driving school to everybody!

Fantastic experience: Just finished my 10 hour lessons with Gantosh. Not sure where a lot of negative reviews come from, but this place is great and very informative! He was really bubbly and friendly, so it helped a lot in helping me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I got to practice highways, parallel parking, going downtown, etc. I feel very confident, and we went over things they'd go over during the road test as well. They work from your pace, so if you feel like you need some work in one area, they'll help you progress. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had Hardeep as my instructor, she was very good at teaching me my basics and gave me confidence for driving. Highly recommend her for new drivers on the road.

Negative experience: my daughter had driving lessons at this place and I do not recommend them. I found out after the fact that they took her through the same street time after time, which was a school zone. the instructor constantly grabbed the steering wheel while she was driving, would often stop for fuel and bathroom/ water breaks. Never took her on the highway, never taught her proper roadway procedures for 4 way stops, or approaching lights/ intersections etc. I wish I had known all this during her driving training as I would have brought it to their attention. Others may have had a good experience but she certainly DIDNT. It was a waste of 800$ and it's been 4 months so I doubt we will get any recourse from this. We now have to find another course for My daughter to take. Worst part is they PASSED her yet she has learned nothing.. save your money and find someone else even if there's a bit of a wait.

Fantastic experience: Jaspreet is an excellent driving instructor. My son is a shy boy. Jaspreet is very patient and made my son feels confident with driving. He enjoyed the lessons. Jaspreet's teaching style helped him pass first time and has given him lots of tips for beyond the driving test. Thanks again for all your help Jaspreet!

Negative experience: Personally, I found them ineffective and not beginner-friendly. I have never been behind the wheel and my instructor was aware of this, so she taught me basics on the first day. Howewer, the next coming days, she would be making a fuss when I make mistakes. She would mostly point out my errors and bare minimum effort was made to explain how I should fix those errors. My instructor would be giving multiple directions one after the other (ie. When making a turn), causing confusion and panic. Very little tips and tricks were given, and feedback after the lesson were not very helpful to improve for the next one. In addition, I did not really appreciate her taking calls and scheduling other people during my lesson as it was very distracting. It's very disrespectful of my time. I went ahead and enrolled in a different driving school and have learned more in the 2 hours I just started than in the 10 hours with ONS. Overall, I'd say that there are better driving schools out there. Make sure you do your research before enrolling.

Fantastic experience: I had my driving lessons with Inder, she is an amazing teacher, she taught me everything I need it to know in order to drive safely and correctly. She always had a positive attitude and a lot of patience. I loved having her as my driving instructor.

He explained and demonstrated thoroughly what important concepts I need to learn. Sam was extremely friendly and was fun to be with. Fantastic experience: My inclass lesson was easy to understand. If you had any questions the teacher would answer them in a way where it’s easy for us as a whole class to understand! My onroad lessons was with the Inder mam as my instructor, I have to give her a 10/10! She was AMAZING

Fantastic experience: On the recommendation of my friend, I only had one session with sir Pardeep two days before my exam. His teaching methods were insanely comprehensive and effective, which assisted me to clear my driving exam in the first attempt. Negative experience: I'm really disappointed about this school. I registered a month ago and waited and no one called me so I called them and the instructor told me that she was busy until mid of November. Imagine that I'm gonna wait another 2 months They waist my time and are irresponsible So don't waist your time guys like me Don't go for registration bcz this nothing and only they said sorry instead of looking a solution for their clients. Ah she told me that she doesn't have enough instructor so why you waist my time . Absolutely I don't recommend this school as they are irresponsible .

Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable throughout my two days in person class training.and the practice driving instructor Mr. Sam was very active, friendly had great experience in teaching driving parell parking, up-dawn hill parking, his car was very clean and modern, comfortable car. After I finished the 10 hours practice I go direct to take my test rood I get my license with very low mistakes through the test rood. Great school I recommend it. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Prabhdeep is amazing, I went from being a panicked driver in the city to calm cool and collected enough to pass my road test. She’s very thorough, patient and just overall friendly. If anyone is wondering who to get training from, Prabhdeep is 100% the one to go to.

Fantastic experience: I am a first time driver and managed to pass my test on my first attempt. This would not have been possible without the aid of my ONS driving instructor Inderjeet. She is very patient and she will focus on the area that needs for improvement. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: My driving lesson experience recently wasn’t that good. The indian instructor lady was nice at first then most of the time scolding me like i was asking simple question but she likes to make it complicated. And after the driving lesson, she waits for me to send a review before I leave the car. I texted her after my lesson a couple times regarding my online class that they haven’t let me enroll but got no response until today.

Negative experience: The woman on the phone was so rude and aggressive, I had to hang up. Technically I didn't even take the driving lessons, but I hope they see this and do something about it. Maybe it's a good thing I never went here, if this is indicative of how they conduct their lessons. Edit: They responded by saying I didn't actually call. That's funny. If you want my advice, just apologize to your customers instead of lying, getting defensive or accusing them of discrimination. These are legitimate concerns and should be addressed professionally.

She is very kind and patient as she explains everything to me in depth to make sure I understand but also kindly helps me fix my mistakes and be a better driver. Fantastic experience: Big shoutout to Hardeep the driving instructor. First lesson I was shaking from anxiety and had no idea what to do, by the fifth lesson all anxiety was gone and I felt MUCH more competent because she makes sure to tell you all the information on driving you need to know in a super simple yet effective way. Felt so safe with her she is always on the lookout and always tells you what to watch out for or what to do with perfect timing. There's also a full course u can take with this school that lowers your car insurance down which is p cool but I didn't do it. Would def do another 5 lessons with instructor Hardeep before the big test

Fantastic experience: After hearing very good reviews about the driving school, I decided to register for the 10 hours driving course with the instructor Pardeep to get my Class 5 driver's license. His lessons helped me refresh my previous experience of driving, especially since I haven't driven a car in two years. Pardeep gave really amazing tips and guidance and was calm, patient, approachable, and very kind! He was always on time and and helped me learn a lot of neat tricks to improve my driving skills that I would not found with other driving instructors. He is definitely the type of driving instructor you would want to have rooting for you! Thank you Pardeep for your guidance and support for making me a safer driver!

Negative experience: Not very instructive. The Instructor was on their phone for the majority of the time. The ten-hours could have been used in better quality instruction if the instructor cared about their students. Leaving the course, I still didn’t learn how to parallel park and park in a lot. It seemed to me that the instructor only cared about ticking a few boxes instead of actually getting the student to master the essential skills.

Fantastic experience: Lakshmi Alluri has been a great instructor! She is very professional, nice, honest and caring. In just a few lessons, I became much more skilled and confident while on the road and passed my road test on the first try. Lakshmi made sure that my new skills would not only be crucial during the road test but also helpful in my everyday driving afterwards. In-class sessions were also interesting and easy to understand. My overall experience with ONS driving school has been positive.

Negative experience: The instructor was very aggressive with my daughter. She also told her not to take the driving test because she'll fail and just waste her parent's money. I called and left a message for the owner to call me back regarding my concerns but they never did

Fantastic experience: I had a great first driving experience because of my instructor, Hardeep. Driving felt a lot less stressful with her patient and knowledgable instruction, especially for me as I was first adjusted to it. To anyone who might be anxious about beginning their driving lessons, I sincerely recommend her! My in-class sessions were also very helpful. My instructor, Jaspreet, gave me excellent insight into traffic laws, which made the course's theoretical portion simple to comprehend and use. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My in class lesson was easy to understand. If you had any questions the teacher would answer them in a way where it’s easy for us as a whole class to understand! However, My on road lessons was with the instructor of the name Hardeep and I have to give her a 10/10! She was AMAZING and made driving fun. I was never on the road ever before this and she made my first lesson extremely fun and simple. Any questions or concerns you ask and she will answer them. She teaches very well! Negative experience: DO NOT PAY ONLINE FIRST! I signed up for classes 2 weeks ago. Went to pay the same day, and nobody was there. A poorly made sign telling me to call a number to see the office greeted me on a single door. Called the number the same day as we registered to set a time to pay, no answer. I left a message telling them I was here to pay and it's been 2 weeks with crickets as a reply. Never even got an email to set up a payment, as the registration stated it would me 2-3 days. I honestly think the 5* reviews are bought, because we haven't heard ANYTHING. So glad we didn't pay online we would be out $500+ Totally recommend going elsewhere, especially if nobody even exists at the little "hole in the wall" office. AVOID!

Fantastic experience: ONS driving school has helped me immensely with being confident behind the wheel, from the classroom through to the in-car lessons. I can really appreciate Hardeep for being such an approachable, knowledgeable and super patient instructor, I was always comfortable and confident with her, never making me feel like a total failure for a little mistake. Fantastic experience: My experiences at ONS Driving School were immensely positive. The staff were exceptionally well-mannered and helpful. The education and lessons were straight forward and felt as though they really improved my driving skills and expanded my knowledge base. I'd especially like to make note of my Instructor, Dhillon. She was amazing, very kind and patient. I single handedly owe her for my success, she was a wealth of knowledge and experience, and she consistently went the extra mile to teach in a positive way. You can clearly see her passion for teaching and safe driving. I can confidently say she has made me a successful student and a better driver. Fantastic experience: I had an unpleasant experience at Arrow Driving School that I cancelled after the first lesson (check my review). I found ONS right away, and it was so easy to transact with them. Prompt, professional, and organized. They have a standard operating procedure in place! I requested for Hardeep as my driving instructor after seeing the reviews here. I was quite traumatised with the other instructor so I was truly worried at first, especially that I have zero driving experience. But Hardeep stayed patient with me until I finally got comfortable driving. I like her way of teaching: patient yet on point. I like how she would regularly ask me questions to make sure I understand, instead of just bombarding me with lots of information. She is practical with her explanations. She’s also fun to talk to (this helped me practice multitasking even more), kept me entertained while driving. I am so glad and relieved that I found her. Because of my learning journey with her, I now feel more positive about driving.

Negative experience: Impossible to schedule prepaid driving sessions. Purchased 10 hours of driving lessons for my daughter April 24 (7 weeks ago) Was able to book one driving session June 8. Have sent driver 9 separate requests via text message requesting availability to book additional appointments and have not received a single response with any options other than June 8. It is now June 14. We were expecting consistent, regular scheduling to support developing driving skills, one 2 hour driving session every 2 months is not helpful.

Fantastic experience: The school was great! They helped me through any questions and problems i had. The in class portion was helpful before the behind the wheel lessons. My driving instructor, Hardeep, helped me every step of the way! I would definitely suggest this driving school to anybody else before they do their test!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Lakhsmi and I passed the road test on the first try. She makes sure that you properly understand the nuances of your car and the road, starting from how to properly position your mirrors to how to parallel park in one go. She breaks down every instruction into simple steps that makes it much easier for a new driver to follow. Will 100% recommend her to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with ONS, my driving instructor Adi was exceptional. He was professional, always on time and extremely patient through out the lessons. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Inder is a great teacher and very patient. She taught me all the road rules and proper driving techniques. I passed on my first try here! That is after failing once in Saskatchewan and thrice in New York. Inder is very thorough and won’t miss a thing! Thanks to ONS driving school which I found through a post when some recommended the driving school. I am so happy as I was already losing hope hahahaha .

Fantastic experience: I got my drivers license today on my first attempt!!! I would highly recommend my driving instructor Dhillon, she is sooo patient and calm which is amazing when youre learning! I paid for max hours back in 2021 but I had very bad anxiety after still so I did my own practicing from then to now in 2024 and then I paid for 6 hour brush up course and on my last lesson, I booked the road test right after and passed! I can honestly say I would not have gotten this comfortable with driving if it was not for Dhillon! Thank you so much Dhillon and ONS driving school!

Negative experience: Worst Experience. Called 2-3 weeks back to inquire about Driving class. Some guy picked up the call and told me that someone will call me back which never happened. Then again I called them after 2 weeks to inquire they took my details and some instructor name “Varun” messaged me instead of call and told me that his all schedule are booked for the date I mentioned and told me that he will check with some other instructor and never revert me back. I’m amazed with such service and I would rate 0 for overall service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent instructors at this school. Both of my sons passed their Class 5 road test on their 1st attempt for which I will give credit to the ONS instructors. One of my son did his lesson with Sam and the other one with Harish. The instructors were very helpful, knowledgeable and made the lessons enjoyable. I would highly recommend ONS school but make sure you practise as much as possible on your own too to gain confidence and ONS will help you brush up your skills to ace your exams. Fantastic experience: Sam is a really good instructor. He was very patient and corrected all my bad habits in driving. He will teach you how to be a good driver and will help you beyond what’s going to be in the road test. Passed my road test first try.
