Negative experience: DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY they don’t even respect the laws they teach…. one of their instructors struck my car while opening their door and refused to give me her insurance information. stating that i can just go through insurance without her information and to claim it as a hit and run…. even after extensive conversations with her, coworkers and her boss they still refused to settle or give me insurance information. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR REPUTABLE COMPANIES WHICH HIRE RESPECTABLE PEOPLE. This company is a disgrace to the Edmonton community. save yourself the hassle of dealing with them!

Fantastic experience: Ravi was my son’s instructor and she was extremely accommodating and put my son at ease for his driving test. It’s not easy teaching teenagers to drive in the winter, especially parking and she did it. My son did the online course/ lessons and bought extra lessons on top of the package and used the driving instructor’s car for the driving test (extra charge but we knew that as it’s listed in the arrow booklet). Definitely would recommend Arrow driving school. Ask for Ravi if you live in the southwest area.

Fantastic experience: “Before test, I was super nervous that I wasn’t going to pass my road test. But I got my class 5 driver license in my first attempt and I had many doubts or confusion like Parallel parking, uphill and downhill parking but because of Alkesh(my instructor) from The Arrow Driving School, I passed the road test. Fantastic experience: One of the best driving schools out here! I didn’t get any referral, just the reviews drew me in. I started my driving lessons approximately 3 weeks ago. Mr. Alkesh was so calm, very detailed in directions and patient with me. I couldn’t even come out of the parking lot, he took me to a quiet parking lot and taught me manoeuvres, stopping, parking, etc. until I was ready and confident enough to get on the road. My previous instructor was impatient and aggressive, was mostly worried about his car but Mr. Alkesh corrected me in a very polite manner every time I made a mistake. Now it’s been a month since I started the driving school, went for the test today and passed on my first attempt. Thank you so much Mr. Alkesh and the Arrow driving school team. They really put teaching and understanding their students first, definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I passed my class 5 license road test on the very first attempt, all thanks to my instructor Ms. Dharma ma'am. Her careful observations in small mistakes helped me a lot during the test day. Her nature is very professional and knows every single rule minutely. I highly recommend her for taking your driving lessons whether you're a newbie or an experienced individual, and excel on your road test✅.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this driving school. We paid for the full program - 2 in-class days, plus 10 hours of driving instruction. My wife paid by e-transfer…we got no confirmation from them when it was received. We requested a receipt, but were sent a screenshot of the e-transfer notification. When we asked about whether or not our son was going to be attending the weekend sessions that we booked him for, they couldn’t initially find his name until we had a bunch of back and forth texting. They hadn’t even registered him. Eventually he said we could bring him. Weekend comes. Government mandates 15 hours of instruction-class instruction. Both days, 8 o’clock start, coffee break, hour long lunch, done at 2 and 2:30. Approximately 11 hours of instruction; however, I went with it thinking perhaps the students were that good and that they didn’t need 15 hours…even though it is required and I paid for 15 hours. After the sessions were over I text to set up driving sessions for my son, as they requested, and they replied saying they could take him on that Monday, but my son wanted to take the next two days off after the weekend training. I requested Wednesday. I got a ‘sure.’ I then asked for a time. Got no reply to multiple texts over the coming days. After texting late Tuesday night, I finally got a text on Wednesday morning saying they could go driving an hour later…but my kid had already made plans for the day like most normal people. I then gave another chance and asked for a later date and time, and again, they never sent me a text. After saying it was too short and that the communication was terrible, I asked for a refund. 15 minutes after asking for a refund I got another text from an instructor saying they could take my son driving in an hour. Terrible. My refund took days and days to get back. They wanted to keep the money for the in class portion, which I agreed to, but I wanted the certificate for my son. It has taken a week to get and they sent it via text. I have asked for it via email, and provided the email, but I have still not received it. Terrible communication and terrible business model. I’m a businessman myself, and if I handled my business this way, I would be out of business. I think if you are a certain type of person looking to get a drivers license easily by cutting corners, this is the company to go to. It doesn’t take a genius to put the pieces together on why they have the rating that they have. And if you are looking for a business that does the bare minimum and puts the onus on you to do their job for them, this is also the company to go to. Terrible experience.

Negative experience: Not a real school. We had to text the driver many times every week to be able to get a class scheduled. We paid for a 10 hours course and asked to have a set time every Saturday so we can schedule our weekend based on that. He refused to set a time, he would wait until he has free time to schedule our class. When he finally schedule a time, he would either reschedule last minute, or come late. Not recommended

Fantastic experience: I started going to Arrow school in May. I already had experience, but I still need professional help to teach me. I got an instructor who was very nervous, who told me that I could not drive alone, that I would never pass. We scheduled a road test, but I couldn't take it because it hasn't been a year since the learner's license. I was so unhappy and disappointed with the instructor in the beginning, I won't write his name now. He took the money for the car rental and never asked to pay it back, knowing that I will not take the road test in June. I thought that I would completely give up on Arrow driving school because of that instructor and find another driving school. My daughter told me try asking the instructor Gurpreet Singh, Gary to give you lessons. I THANK GARY FOR ACCEPTING TO TEACH ME AND GIVE ME LESSONS. GARY IS THE BEST INSTRUCTOR AT ARROW SCHOOL. Gary is so smart, knowledgeable, experienced and knows how to free a person from any fear of driving. Gary is calm and knows how to correct mistakes and teach me how to be confident. Fantastic experience: The school is affordable, with pick up/drop off at your house and flexible schedule. I was very nervous to start driving and my instructor explained everything and helped me with the manoeuvres I was most scared of. We did them over and over again until I was comfortable with them.

Negative experience: We booked a driving lesson in advance and ended up waiting 30 minutes as a grace period in case the instructor was running late and after 45 minutes after our scheduled lesson we phoned the office since they weren’t answering our messages and they said they didn’t have an instructor available for us. This is despite us going out of our way to rearrange our very busy schedule and take time off work and school to make this lesson happen and prebooked it in advance and yet the instructor couldn’t show up. Not impressed as we can’t get our time back.

Had taken a few Brush up classes before my Class 5 road test and the guidance and coaching received from instructor Prince was highly Professional and very useful for me to clear at the very first attempt with zero errors during the test. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!! I already typed a review on all the reasons not to go here but it exceeded the word limit so short and sweet it is. DONT GO HERE. I was yelled at I was told the incorrect way to drive, I waited 3 months before I even got into a vehicle had to asks for a different instructor, only had one driving session. Not to mention when I was in the vehicle the driver instructor continually distracted me by blaring music, eating, braking for me whenever I needed to stop also refused to take me home after an hour of driving and I was super uncomfortable I had asked probably 10 times to go home and was ignored he tried to convince me to go ON THE HIGHWAY MY FIRST LESSON after I told him I had barley any driving experience. Finally asked for a refund from the owner after the instructor called me and hung up on me when I was very kind to him on the phone, the owner explained how he would be keeping some of the money to which my mother in law took the phone and told him that would not be the case for how I had been treated during this whole experience I got a full refund and am now going somewhere else. If you are wanting to learn how to drive safely DONT GO HERE!!!

Fantastic experience: Best Instructor of Arrow Driving School - GURWINDER sir. He teaches you like his own son/daughter, although he will scold you sometimes but only for your own good. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Gurwinder and he was excellent. I passed my test and I don't have a car or friends who can drive so he was one of the only ways I could practice. He was patient, encouraging, and pointed out areas I needed to focus on. He knew when I was ready and encouraged me to take the test even though I was hesitant because I was worried about failing. 10/10 would recommend.
